Josh Duggar and his wife Anna are expecting their fifth child, and 19 Kids And Counting fans are shocked by the news. The couple made their big announcement on the Duggar family’s web site on Friday, March 18th.
Josh and Anna said in a statement, “As we continue our journey as a family and rebuild our lives, we are delighted to share with you that we are expecting a new baby boy later this year,” the post continues. “Beauty comes from ashes and we cannot wait to see and kiss the face of this sweet new boy!”
The couple already has four children, Mackynzie, Michael, Marcus and Meredith. Even though the couple revealed that they are expecting a baby boy, they didn’t say how far along Anna is in her pregnancy or when their expected due date is.
The news shocked both Duggar fans and critics, who have long been calling out for Anna to leave Josh and divorce him. After all, he is the same man who humiliated her two years ago when he was caught cheating on her with an Ashley Madison account. If that weren’t enough, he also confessed to sexually abusing four of his sisters while he was a teen back in 2002 and 2003.
As a result of his scandals, TLC pulled the plug on the Duggars’ reality television show, ’19 Kids & Counting.’ Josh ended up spending several months in faith-based rehab center while his parents Michelle and Jim Bob Duggar have been struggling to repair their family’s wholesome public image.
At this point, Anna is making it pretty clear that she won’t be leaving Josh Duggar anytime soon. But for critics, they think she’s making a huge mistake. If Josh cheated on her once, some think there’s a good chance that he’ll cheat again. So far that hasn’t happened, though. Or he’s just really good at hiding it. Insiders say that Josh has been focusing on repairing his marriage and his family life. He’s already lost a lot, including his reputation, and he certainly doesn’t want to lose more. Do you agree?
