All of the entertainment world’s biggest celebrities are currently in the French capital for Paris Fashion Week except for Kim Kardashian. In fact, some fans believe her husband Kanye West might be the reason why she’s skipping out on all of the runway shows this year. This is mostly because he’s worried about Kim’s safety in Paris, especially after what happened to her last September. The reality television star was bound, gagged, and thrown into a bathtub during a horrific burglary that changed her life forever. The thieves took off with over $12 million dollars of Kim’s jewelry.
Many of Kim’s fans have noticed that she hasn’t been traveling as much as she used to. Even though she joined her family for a special vacation to Costa Rica in February, she’s only made a few trips to New York City and that’s it. It’s pretty obvious that Kim Kardashian has traded in her jet-setting life for one closer to home instead. After everything she’s been through these last several months, the only place Kim wants to be is at home with her husband Kanye and their two children, North West and Saint West.
Many insiders believe that Kanye might also be the reason why Kim is not at Paris Fashion Week right now. The only fashion show she’s attended recently is Kanye’s low-key show in New York City. He doesn’t want her to jeopardize her safety or attract unwanted attention for that matter.
What’s more, Kim is making it pretty clear that she’s made some serious changes to her lifestyle. Instead of making public appearances at department stores, clubs and exclusive parties, she’s been focusing on her family life. She hasn’t even given one interview since her Paris robbery. Some even believe that the old Kim Kardashian might be gone forever. Plus, if anything were to happen to Kim right now, it would send Kanye over the edge. That’s the last thing the Kardashian family wants to see, especially since they’ve already experienced one meltdown with him last November.
