Carole Middleton has managed to anger and embarrass her daughter Kate Middleton once again. In fact, Carole is admitting that Kate is still a big part of her Party Pieces empire in a new letter she wrote to her loyal customers. Carole Middleton began Party Pieces alongside Kate’s father, Michael Middleton, in 1987. Since then, their Party Pieces business has helped make them multi-millionaires.
Of course, Michael and Carole have long been criticized for using their royal connections for profit. Party Pieces even has a royal-themed paraphernalia line that includes wigs for queens and princess along with inflatable crowns. And now Carole is saying that if it weren’t for her children, which includes Kate and her siblings, Pippa Middleton and James Middleton, they wouldn’t be here today.
Carole wrote on her catalogue, “They grew up with me working and appreciate the demands of a busy business and a working mum, and although now they are not involved day to day in the business, I still value their ideas and opinions.”
So does this mean that Kate Middleton still shares her ideas with her mother Carole? Does she approve of all the royal paraphernalia? Is she embarrassed that her mother even mentioned her in the catalogue? That’s what fans want to know.
Queen Elizabeth will not be too pleased when she hears about this. If there’s one thing she doesn’t like, it’s hearing people like Carole Middleton use the royal family for publicity. In fact, the last thing the Queen wants is to hear about how others are piggybacking on the royal family and at her expense.
Carole Middleton has long been trying to piggyback on her daughter Kate Middleton and her royal connections. Sure, the Middletons have always been known as successful business people, but they became a household name thanks to Prince William and Kate Middleton’s relationship. That’s why Carole Middleton is willing to do whatever it takes to keep her name in the headlines.
So far, Buckingham Palace has not made any comments about Carole’s statement.
