Kate Middleton is a member of the British royal family, but at her sister Pippa Middleton’s wedding, she’s going to be nothing more than a nanny. New reports indicate that the Duchess of Cambridge has agreed to babysit at her sister’s wedding, simply because Pippa doesn’t want her to steal her thunder on the most important day of her life.
Pippa Middleton is set to wed her fiancé James Matthews in a star-studded ceremony in May. After several failed relationships, she’s managed to finally find a fiancé from a well-to-do family that wants to settle down with her. And of course, she wants this to be the biggest day of her life. Pippa wants to make sure that all eyes are on her and that she will be the center of attention. In order for that to happen, she has to make sure that her sister Kate stays out of the spotlight. And that’s why Pippa is making Kate a babysitter at her wedding.
One source even told Britain’s The Sun, “Pippa has invited everyone’s children to her wedding but Kate is going to babysit all the little ones on the big day, including her own two. No one is taking their nannies as Kate has offered.”
But does Kate Middleton really want to be a babysitter at her sister’s wedding? That’s what a lot of fans can’t help but wonder. After all, Kate has her own team of royal nannies, assistants, and housekeepers that do most of the work for her on a daily basis. With a full-time staff at home, Kate has never had to worry about her own two children, Prince George and Princess Charlotte. It’s highly unlikely that Kate will be able to keep an eye on everyone’s children and enjoy herself during the reception at the same time.
Plus, it’s not surprising that Pippa wants Kate Middleton to stay busy at her own wedding. The last thing she wants is for the press to talk about what Kate wore and how she looked on Pippa’s big day. If there’s one Middleton that is going to make headlines after the wedding, Pippa wants to make sure it’s her and not the Duchess.
