Kate Middleton has once again managed to push Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie aside and take the spotlight for herself. This time around she did it during the royal family’s Easter Sunday service in Windsor. All eyes and cameras were once again on Kate Middleton, making Eugenie and Beatrice feel like they simply don’t exist whenever the Duchess is around.
Even though Beatrice and Eugenie both wore spring-hued dresses for the occasion, it’s safe to say that no one really cared. That’s because the Duchess of Cambridge wore a custom-made cream coat by her favorite designer Catherine Walker for the occasion. What’s more, Kate was also photographed curtseying in front of Queen Elizabeth, with her husband Prince William and the two princesses behind her.
Many eyewitnesses say that both Princess Eugenie and Princess Beatrice looked annoyed with Kate Middleton by their side. Clearly, they knew that the photographers were there just to get a glimpse of the Duchess. Many royal observers also noted that there was very little interaction between Kate and the princesses. In fact, they barely even spoke to one another throughout the entire church service.
One of the reasons why Prince Andrew wanted to make his daughters Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie full-time royals is because they hate being pushed to the sideline all the time. Each and every time Kate Middleton is in the spotlight, then Eugenie and Beatrice’s names are left out of the headlines. And that’s exactly what happened during Easter weekend.
The media reported on Kate Middleton’s custom-made outfit, how radiant she looked and her outfit might have been a silent tribute to Princess Diana. In other words, Kate Middleton only makes headlines for her style and nothing else.
It wouldn’t be surprising if Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie feel constantly frustrated whenever they are forced to make a public appearance with Kate Middleton. After all, they are the ones with the royal blood. Yet they get completely ignored whenever Kate is around. They’ve had enough of it, but at this point there’s nothing they can do about it. Kate Middleton is by far the most popular member of the royal family whether they like it or not.
