Is Kate Middleton so worried about the London terror attacks that she’s looking to cancel all of her royal duties and public appearances? That’s what some royal fans can’t help but wonder as the Duchess of Cambridge has made it no secret that the attack has left her absolutely terrified.
Even though Queen Elizabeth canceled her scheduled trip to Scotland Yard following the Westminster terror attack that killed four people and injured 40 more, Kate Middleton made an appearance at a charity event on Thursday, March 23. She was on hand for the launch of a series of educational films created by Best Beginnings as part of her Heads Together campaign. The Duchess spoke out about the attack and expressed her sympathy to the victims and their families.
Kate told the audience, “Before I begin, I know you would all want to join me in sending our thoughts and prayers to all those sadly affected by yesterday’s terrible attack in Westminster. We will be thinking of all the families, as we discuss the important issues we’re here to talk about.”
Sure enough, Kate has to be livid that she was forced to make her appearance even though the Queen canceled her trip on the same day. Kate Middleton was forced to attend the event without her husband Prince William by her side, making it even more stressful for her. With everyone terrified and in lockdown mode, the last place Kate Middleton wants to be is in public and without her family. That’s why royal critics believe Kate will use the terror attack as another excuse to reduce her workload.
No one would be surprised if Kate Middleton did use the London terror attacks to cancel her royal commitments and public appearances. A lot of royal observers know that Kate would do anything to get out of work so she can stay home with her two children, Prince George and Princess Charlotte.
So far Buckingham Palace has not made any additional comments about the royal family’s schedule or whether or not Queen Elizabeth plans on canceling more events. Tell us, do you think Kate Middleton is worried about her personal safety? Should Prince William have attended the Heads Together event rather than Kate?
