Pippa Middleton knows exactly what it’s like to outshine people at their own wedding, just ask Kate Middleton – which is why she’s so wary of being outshone at her own wedding. According to a new report, Pippa Middleton has banned model Vogue Williams – who also happens to be her future husband’s brother’s girlfriend – from her wedding. No doubt Kate Middleton can see the glaring irony here.
Pippa is all set to marry James Matthews in six weeks, but she doesn’t want to invite James’ brother Spencer’s girlfriend – just because she’s a model and much more attractive than Pippa. There was already a report stating that Pippa wasn’t planning on inviting Meghan Markle – even though she was Prince Harry’s significant other – because she knew Meghan’s presence at the wedding would steal the spotlight from her.
And now, she’s worried about the same thing with Vogue Williams, with a source explaining, “It’s clear Pippa doesn’t want to be outshone by any TV babes on her big day.” Apparently, some members of the inner circle are unhappy with this turn of events, with the source adding, “It’s certainly raised eyebrows. Some people in the circle are pretty shocked because this is her future brother-in-law who’s going to end up attending on his own.”
Again, Pippa Middleton knows exactly what it takes to steal the spotlight from the bride at her own wedding – because she did it to her sister, Kate Middleton. As such, it’s rich in irony that she’s now worried about someone else doing it at her wedding, because it’s very much the case of the pot calling the kettle black. But then again, Pippa knows that she managed to steal the limelight at Kate’s wedding with a nicely tailored dress and some strategic photographs and photo-ops, and she’s not even a model!
Forget the publicity involved in inviting Meghan Markle, Pippa Middletonlikely knows that a tall, beautiful model attending the wedding will draw attention, no matter what she does. But is she going to go through the entire guest list, including everyone’s plus ones, and mark out anyone who’s a model or anyone who’s even remotely attractive?
