Kensington Palace is making some room for Prince Harry’s girlfriend Meghan Markle to move in soon. New reports indicate that Kensington Palace is about to undergo a massive renovation, which includes new plans for Prince Harry’s apartment.
Prince Harry has always lived in one of the smallest apartments at Kensington Palace. For years he called Nottingham Cottage his home. As a bachelor, he never really needed a lot of space for himself. But now that he’s planning to marry his girlfriend Meghan Markle soon, he’s looking to upgrade to a bigger apartment.
Apparently, Prince Harry wants to move to Apartment 1, which looks very similar to Prince William and Kate Middleton’s home, Apartment 1A. It will not only be big enough for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle to live in, but will also have enough space for their future children to run around in, too.
The palace is planning to replace the roof at Apartment 1. The staff and handlers are also looking to repair and possibly even replace the windows, too. In other words, the new apartment will look almost new before Meghan Markle moves in.
So far Prince Harry has made no indication that he plans on proposing to Meghan Markle anytime soon. Even though they’ve been spotted together in public on numerous occasions, Harry spends most of his time in London while Meghan lives and works in Toronto. Of course, the only two people who know what the real truth is behind closed doors are Harry and Meghan themselves. Harry has waited his entire life for a woman like Meghan and there’s no way that he’ll let her slip away, especially since they are so close to taking their relationship to the next level.
Royals fans know that the truth will come out soon enough. Harry might just be waiting for the right moment to pop the all-important question to Meghan. And when it happens, the entire world will find out about it. Plus, Meghan wants to make sure that she’s making the right decision with Harry.
After all, her life is going to change forever. As a royal, her life will be behind palace doors now. Every move she makes will be critiqued by the media, whether she like it or not. For Meghan, at this point it’s just a matter of preparing for what’s to come for the future.
