Kim Kardashian is still feeling the effects of her trip to Paris last year. The Keeping Up With the Kardashians reality star has no plans to return the city for at least a decade. In the new teaser for KUWTK, Kim Kardashian addresses her concerns of returning to the French capitol and to the scene of the crime. She said that she’s still too fragile to return within the next decade.
Kim Kardashian discussed her court appearance regarding the robbery. She was held at gunpoint and robbed of her jewelry worth “several millions,” including her wedding ring given to her by Kanye West. Kim Kardashian revealed that even though she’s been in “therapy,” she still feels uncomfortable returning back to the scene of the crime. When a friend asked if she will return to Paris anytime soon, she said she might return in “five, six, seven or ten years’ time.”
Even her daughter North West asks her when they will go, and she promises her soon. Five men dressed as policemen broke into Kim Kardashian’s apartment while she was asleep in her bed. They bound and gagged her before taking off with her jewelry, iPhone, and other items.
This revelation comes after Kim Kardashian’s personal assistant spoke out about the robbery. Stephanie Shepherd sat down for an interview with Refinery29, in which she recounted the scary ordeal. Kim Kardashian wasn’t the only one who was shaken up over her robbery in Paris. Shepherd called that day “terrifying,” but she knew she had to hold it together for their sake.
Stephanie Shepherd says her lifestyle has changed since the robbery. She says that she’s more “cautious” these days, and they got more security alarms installed. She even carries a few cans of pepper spray for herself and for the Kardashians. Shepherd has been Kardashian’s assistant since 2013. She joined the family before the reality star gave birth to North West. Shepherd’s career initially began when she worked for choreographer Mikey Minden.
Shepherd recalled her job interview with the 36-year-old. She went on to do all the work for Kardashian. She ended up “doing her whole schedule, doing her laundry, booking travel, putting the stroller together and all of these things.” Four years later, Kardashian upgraded from just one personal assistant to a personal assistant, a house assistant, and two nannies.
Stephanie Shepherd claims she has gotten close to the Kardashian-Jenner clan over the years. Of course, she has grown close to Kim Kardashian, but she also loves Khloe and Kourtney. She also finds Kanye West hilarious, which is hard to believe.
