Kourtney Kardashian and Justin Bieber have broken up. This pair was one of the strangest Hollywood couplings of recent years, but alas, Kourtney has finally grown up and gotten sick of Justin’s antics. This split means the welcome end to one of the more embarrassing episodes in Kourtney Kardashian’s already embarrassing love life.
Despite reports alleging that Kourtney and Justin ended their ‘fling’ in January, other reports have suggested that the duo have stayed in touch and continued hooking up and/or dating in the intervening months. But according to sources from OK! Magazine’s latest report, Kourtney has been ‘crushed’ after Justin’s been hooking up with girls while on the road in Rio and Australia. The source alleges that Justin had promised Kourtney he wouldn’t date other girls while he was on tour, but clearly, he hasn’t kept that promise.
The source explains in further detail, stating, “Justin’s totally broken his word, which was to [make] things exclusive when he got back and not hook up with others during this time apart. Kourt’s extremely hurt. They’ve been texting back and forth, and Justin’s basically told her he wants to keep things casual, so she’s pulled the plug. The way she sees it, the last thing she wants in her life is another version of Scott.”
The thing is – if Kourtney Kardashian chose to date someone like Justin Bieber, she should have known what she was getting, right? Justin hasn’t been serious about any girl since Selena Gomez, and he’s been having back-to-back flings with models and actresses ever since breaking up with Selena, with nary a long-term relationship in between. It’s abundantly obvious he is ONLY looking for flings and short-term hookups, and Kourtney shouldn’t have assumed any differently.
Then again, it’s very possible that this report is an attempt to play up Kourtney’s poor-me image after the whole Scott Disick debacle, and garner sympathy for her in the wake of yet another breakup. Were Kourtney Kardashian and Justin Bieber ever ‘dating’, or did they just have a brief fling that never warranted further discussion? Did Kourtney pull the plug on their ‘relationship’ because she wanted something more serious, or did it just die out naturally?
