Lauren Conrad is starting off the New Year with very exciting news for her fans. The former reality television star has announced that she is pregnant. This will be the first child for Lauren and her husband, William Tell.
While everyone in the celebrity world is congratulating Lauren on her pregnancy, there’s one person who has been rather quiet, and that’s her former friend and co-star, Kristin Cavallari. In fact, some sources say that Kristin might not be very excited about Lauren’s pregnancy news at all.
Lauren and Kristin’s friendship ended on their MTV reality television show. Even though ‘Laguna Beach’ and ‘The Hills’ were supposedly scripted, Kristin says her feud with Lauren was absolutely real. That’s why fans aren’t surprised that Lauren and Kristin are no longer speaking to each other.
Sources say that Kristin is worried that Lauren might steal her spotlight away from her now that she’s about to become a celebrity mother. After all, Lauren has built her career around her business as a fashion designer. It’s without a doubt that many brands are going to try and work with a pregnant Lauren for new deals and endorsements, leaving someone like Kristin out of the picture.
Even though she’s no longer on reality television, Kristin has managed to generate headlines for being a celebrity mother. She’s often attacked for her parenting methods and for even making her own homemade baby formula for her kids.
If that weren’t enough, Cavallari’s social media followers have even bullied her online by calling her a bad mom. Some have even called her a ‘psycho’ for obsessively reading her children’s food labels. What’s more, Kristin Cavallari was recently forced to respond to claims that her children are too skinny.
Of course, sources say Kristin knows that if it weren’t for the online controversies, her celebrity career would be over. Fans would have long forgotten her if it weren’t for her pregnancy and parenting endorsements. But, now that Lauren is pregnant, that might all change.
