On tonight’s Lucifer episode as per the FOX synopsis, “After Lucifer removes his wings yet again, Linda becomes concerned that he is too focused on tracking down the Sinnerman and neglecting his own well-being. Tensions continue to rise between Lucifer and Chloe, but they realize they must put their differences aside to solve a case in which Lucifer takes a sudden interest.”

Lucifer comes home with a lady. They kiss their way through the doorway and into his bedroom. As she is about to undress, his wings pop open. She is intrigued. He is angry that this is happening. He sends her on his way. He plans to hack them off.
The next door, Lucifer meets with Linda and tells her his issues. He tells her about Sinnerman. Linda has her own problems. Lucifer tries to talk to her about them but she wants to get back to him. He is determined to find the Sinnerman and end him.
Lucifer meets with Decker who thinks she has a lead on who Sinnerman might be. While talking, their new Lieutenant comes by the desk. Decker stops talking. After he leaves, Lucifer wants to know why Decker wants to hide this new case. She explains that this sounds silly and too mythological to tell their new boss about just yet. They get called to a new case.
Lucifer and Decker arrive to meet Dan. They look over the body of a dead man who is a comedian. Ella shows up. She doesn’t have much to go on. They discuss the dead comedian’s recent accusation against another famous comedian who he has accused of stealing his work. The thieving comedian is Bobby Lowe, who is very famous and in town.
Lucifer and Decker watch videos of their victim. He is ranting that Lowe stole his work. Ella interjects. She thinks their victim is a liar. She doesn’t think Lowe would do that. Lucifer and Decker are going to pay Lowe a visit. Ella thinks she should go just in case she needs to collect evidence. They head to Hollywood.
Linda meets with Amenadiel at a club. She thanks him for saving her life. He asks her how she is really doing. She tells him fine. He on the other hand, hasn’t had his powers since that day. He thinks he knows what he needs to do to get them back. Linda tells him whatever it is, she can help. They head back to Lucifer’s. Amenadiel shows her the wings that Lucifer dumped.
Dan meets with the Lieutenant. Dan wants to explain that he isn’t a dirty cop. There is a reason he checked that gun out of evidence. The Lieutenant doesn’t care. He wants everything Dan knows about Lucifer within the hour.
Lucifer, Decker and Ella show up at the studio where Lowe is. He is a diva. Ella doesn’t care. She still sees his good side while the other 2 see him as a jerk. Lowe starts his show right away, walking away from the 3 of them. They are invited to the filming of the show. They sit in the live studio audience. It becomes apparent that Lowe did steal the dead comedian’s work. Lucifer is angry. He gets up and walks on set right in the middle of recording. He accuses Lowe of being a thief. Lucifer picks up a puppet on set, telling Lowe he is going to take over the show. He discovers a gun in the puppet. The crowd gets scared when it goes off.
Lowe admits that the gun is his. Ella confirms that it isn’t the murder weapon. Lowe breaks down. He hates his job and he wouldn’t kill JD. Now that JD is gone he is never getting off the job.
