Is Meghan Markle urging Prince Harry to move to Los Angeles? That might be the case, there’s a new report that says Harry is house hunting in California so he can spend more time with his girlfriend, Meghan Markle.
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have been dating for well over a year now, but they haven’t spent much time together. That’s because Harry is usually stuck in London while Meghan splits her time between Los Angeles and Toronto while filming her television show, ‘Suits.’ And while they’ve managed to visit each other on both sides of the pond, it’s usually no more than for a few days or two weeks at the most.
Prince Harry’s schedule is jam packed with his public engagements and royal duties while Meghan can only take so much time off from ‘Suits’ to be with Harry. That’s why there’s a good chance that Harry is trying to find a place for himself in the United States.
In fact, one insider close to the situation even told Britain’s Express paper, “Harry loves America and is totally open to dividing his time between Canada, LA and London once he and Meghan are officially man and wife. It’s a logical step for the Royals, too, because he’ll be able to up their reputation abroad while still fulfilling duties back at home and overseas, of course.”
With that being said, it’s doubtful that Queen Elizabeth would want to see Prince Harry spend more time than he has to in the United States. The royal family lives in London and unless they are traveling for a special overseas trip, she expects everyone to be close to home.
Many reports indicate that once Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are married, she’ll have to quit her Hollywood career in order to become a full-time royal instead. There’s no way that Meghan would be able to film ‘Suits’ and fulfill all of her royal duties and obligations.
Living in both Los Angeles and London would only cause more of a headache that anything else. As much as Harry loves America, he wouldn’t be able to spend more than a week at a time there. Queen Elizabeth simply wouldn’t allow for it.
So far Buckingham Palace has not made any comments about the report. In the meantime, don’t forget to check back with CDL for all the latest news and updates on the royal family right here!
