Paul Wesley is single again, is he looking to date one of his ‘The Vampire Diaries’ co-stars? That’s what many fans can’t help but wonder as Paul and his co-star Nina Dobrev have a long history of being close friends.
Earlier reports indicated that Paul recently pulled the plug on his four-year relationship with actress Phoebe Tonkin. Even though sources say that the two are still friends, Phoebe deleted all of her photos of Paul on her social media accounts. She also gave him back her Cartier promise ring. Did Paul cheat on her? Did they get into a big fight behind closed doors?
In the meantime, Nina has been very quiet about her own personal life. Some rumors suggest that Nina has been secretly dating her best friend Glen Powell. Many friends in their inner circle also say that they’ve been secretly dating under the radar for months now. Nina is yet to confirm or deny the rumors, with many fans speculating that she might be hiding something. Is this because she’s been spending a lot of time with Paul Wesley lately?
Nina Dobrev and Paul Wesley have always had a close friendship. In fact, Nina made quite the effort to celebrate Paul’s birthday right after she broke up with her ex-boyfriend Ian Somerhalder back in 2013. This was the same time Paul announced his divorce from his ex-wife Torrey DeVitto. A lot of viewers have also pointed out that Paul and Nina have a lot of on-screen chemistry on ‘The Vampire Diaries.’ Plus, Nina has made it no secret that one of the reasons why she was excited to return to ‘The Vampire Diaries’ was so she could work with Paul again. She’s even shared several behind-the-scenes photos of them on her social media accounts.
Both Nina and Paul have not said anything about their close friendship or the romance rumors for that matter. Still, many fans can’t help but wonder if they will ever come out as a couple.
