Pink and her husband Carey Hart have been through their share of ups and downs. The couple weren’t always as happy as they appear on social media. Though they share two children, the singer admits that the couple took two breaks during their marriage. Now, Pink and Carey Hart are stronger than ever. Their personal issues also brought them closer together. Pink is usually tight-lipped about their marriage. She’s hardly a tabloid topic. But, she’s finally opening up in this week’s issue Us Weekly.
Pink and Carey Hart celebrated their 11th anniversary in Costa Rica back in January. She took to Instagram to commemorate the moment. She shared a photo of the two kissing in the gorgeous location. She said she feels like that he is still hers and thanked him “for sticking around.” Pink made an appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show last year where she admitted that the two has taken lots of time apart during their marriage.
There were two breaks during their marriage, reports Us Weekly. The two previously ended things in 2003 when they were dating at the time. Their second split happened in 2008 when they already were knee-deep in their marriage. Pink thought she was going to have to file for divorce. Their first break lasted about a year, while the second one took 11 months. Some people would scoff at their approach, but it seems to be working for the couple.
The punky pop star and the BMX rider realized they’re still in love with each other after all these years. Pink and Carey Hart share two children – daughter, Willow, 6, and son Jameson, 5 months. An insider told Us Weekly that the family has become a close pact. The couple feels stronger than they’ve ever been. They love to celebrate life with their family.
Pink, whose real name is Alecia Moore, has exclaimed that she enjoys being a mom. It’s baffling to imagine the tattoo-wearing and tongue-wagging singer talk about her private life, which consists of baking and dropping off her children at pre-school. During a phone interview with Us Weekly on May 10, Pink exclaimed that she’s become sort of domestic. She and Hart even rode 100 miles on their bikes to raise money for No Kid Hungry as part of the Chefs Cycle event.
She joked that she’s become a “soccer mom” overnight. While she enjoys performing and singing, she loves caring for her family more. She enjoys watching Willow play T-Ball with the rest of her teammates in the springtime. Pink said she’s become one of those moms who get a little too enthusiastic in the stands. But, she admits that she loves embarrassing her kids. The rest of Pink’s interview will be revealed in the new issue of Us Weekly, out now on newsstands.
