Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have only been officially dating for about a year, but Prince Harry’s made it clear that Meghan is ‘the one’ – and as such, has already made moves to cement the relationship for anyone still in doubt (cough, his family, cough).
He’s already taken her as his official date to weddings, he’s been seen in public with her, and he’s gone on the record regarding his feelings about her and how far he’ll go to defend her against disparaging public allegations. And now, a new report from The Daily Mail states that he’ll also be moving in with her once renovations to Kensington Palace are complete.
The Mail’s sources claim, “He keeps popping round and asking when it will be ready. He seems in a real hurry to move in with Meghan.” Thus far, whenever Meghan has come to visit, the couple has stayed at Nottingham Cottage, which is considered Harry’s ‘bachelor pad’ at the palace. However, whenever Meghan does move in, she’ll reportedly move into the wing that is close to Prince William and Kate Middleton, because that is likely what will be required of them. However, what’s the bet that both Harry and Meghan will want to move out within months of living next to William and Kate? Can you imagine Meghan Markle and Kate Middleton spending time together, Kate seething with jealously as she looks on every day?
This report hasn’t been confirmed by the royal press office, but they’re too busy right now putting out the fire that resulted from Prince William’s… ‘extracurricular’ activities last week. However, that might even work in Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s favor, because that means there’s less attention paid to them and whether they’re following royal protocol. Nobody’s going to care about Meghan Markle’s acting career or what she and Harry are doing shacking up before their wedding when they’re too busy following Prince William’s descent into his mid-life crisis.
