Kate Middleton was ditched by her royal hubby. Prince William is once again showing the world that he’s got his priorities elsewhere when it comes to his royal duties and work commitments. In fact, both Prince William and his wife Kate Middleton were noticeably absent during a Commonwealth Day service at Westminster Abbey on Monday, March 13th.
Instead of attending the service, William was on a ski holiday with his pals in Switzerland. Insiders say that Kate decided to stay home with her two children, Prince George and Princess Charlotte.
To make matters worse, William was photographed partying with Australian model Sophie Taylor during his ski trip. Sophie and a female pal even joined William and his male friends for a round of drinks at a nearby bar.
One eyewitness even told Britain’s The Sun, “If I were Kate I wouldn’t be very pleased to see my husband living it up with two stunning girls. William and his pals had skied to the restaurant, while the girls came up the mountain specially to meet them. The boys ate lunch and the girls joined them for a load of drinks.”
Could this mean there’s trouble behind closed doors for Prince William and Kate Middleton? Why didn’t Kate tag along for the trip? Are they hiding something about their marriage? This isn’t the first time the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have been criticized for skipping out on their public appearances and royal engagements. William and Kate have made it no secret that they would rather spend their time vacationing than working.
Still, many royal observers want to know why Prince William decided to ditch his Commonwealth Day duties for his last-minute ski trip. Plus, why did Kate Middleton stay home? Surely, she could have made a solo appearance at Westminster Abbey without her husband. Instead of showing up to work with Queen Elizabeth, Kate Middleton is fueling even more rumors about her marriage and problems behind closed doors by choosing to stay at home with her kids.
So far Buckingham Palace has not made any comments about Prince William’s ski trip or Kate Middleton’s absence for that matter. Tell us, are you surprised by Prince William’s latest move?
