Is Priyanka Chopra planning to serve as Meghan Markle’s bridesmaid during her wedding to Prince Harry? That’s what a lot of people can’t help but wonder as Priyanka herself recently opened up about her friend Meghan and how she’s also looking forward to their royal wedding.
During an interview with television talk show host Wendy Williams, Priyanka dished about Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s romance. Even though they are yet to make an announcement, Priyanka says that it will only be matter of time before Harry and Meghan are engaged, because she’s never seen her friend happier in her life.
The ‘Quantico’ actress was also asked whether or not she would serve as a bridesmaid in the wedding. While Priyanka didn’t say yes or no, she did say that it would be a rather stressful job, especially since the entire world would be watching her.
Of course, if Priyanka Chopra does become Meghan Markle’s bridesmaid, that means more Hollywood stars will be expected to attend the wedding, making it a star-studded event. For Meghan though, that might not be good news because Queen Elizabeth is no fan of Hollywood.
The last thing she wants is for the royal family to get too close to Hollywood. The Queen is already wary of anything to do with the entertainment world. Plus, the old-fashioned monarch is going to expect Meghan Markle to start acting like a royal the moment she becomes a member of the British royal family.
Once she marries Harry, Meghan will have less time to hang out with her Hollywood pals because she’ll be too busy with her public engagements and royal charity work.
So far Prince Harry hasn’t made any comments about his Meghan Markle romance but a lot of royal fans do believe that he will propose to her in the next several months. Even though they’ve been dating for a little over a year, insiders believe that Meghan Markle is the girl that Prince Harry has been looking for all his life.
There’s no way he’s going to let someone like Meghan slip away, especially since they are so close to making things official between them. When they do get married though, it will definitely be the wedding of the year. Now whether it will be a royal wedding or a Hollywood affair remains to be determined.
