Queen Elizabeth has given Prince Harry permission to marry Meghan Markle. After dating for over a year now, many royal observers believe that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will start planning their wedding, now that the young royal has his grandmother’s approval.
Reports indicate that Prince Harry is planning to propose to his Hollywood girlfriend during an upcoming trip to Africa they are planning together. But first, he needed to make sure that he has Queen Elizabeth’s official seal of approval, and that’s why he asked his grandmother for permission to marry the brunette beauty before their engagement is made official.
Luckily for Prince Harry, Meghan Markle’s controversial past doesn’t seem to bother Queen Elizabeth one bit. Even though she’s a divorcee and a Hollywood celebrity, it looks like Meghan must have done or said something to charm the Queen. That, or she probably understands that Prince Harry is desperate to marry Meghan one way or another. He hasn’t been this excited or serious about a girlfriend in several years.
With that being said, there’s a good chance that the royal family will be seeing two very high-profile weddings by the end of the year. Even though Kate Middleton’s sister Pippa is not a member of the British royal family, she’s still getting a lot of media attention for her upcoming James Matthews nuptials. That’s because the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, along with Prince George and Princess Charlotte, and Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are all expected to be there.
With Harry planning to propose to Meghan in the next several weeks, there’s a strong possibility that their royal wedding might take place this fall. In other words, the public might see Prince George and Princess Charlotte star as a page boy and bridesmaid in two weddings this year.
So far Prince Harry has made no indications that he plans on proposing to Meghan Markle, although many royal insiders believe that it might happen sooner rather than later. He’s waited his entire life to meet someone like Meghan and there’s no way that he’ll let go of her, especially now that they are beginning to plan their future together.
Plus, it looks like Meghan is willing and ready to take on the biggest role of her life: and that’s as Prince Harry’s royal wife.
