Queen Elizabeth Won’t Abdicate Despite Declining Health: Prince Charles Cursed, Not Fit For Kingly Duties!

Would the King Charles Curse follow Prince Charles into his reign? Royal watchers do speculate whether or not the Prince of Wales will choose to rule under another one of his names. King George VII perhaps? Or in honor of his father, King Philip I? Maybe Charles will choose to be King Arthur? It is one of his four names given at birth.

Queen Elizabeth’s health has been more than fragile for nearly three weeks and many believe the ailing monarch wishes to abdicate in favor of Charles but thinks the Prince of Wales, 68, just isn’t ready to rule. It could be Charles who is the one who is nervous, considering what happened to the first two kings named King Charles.

It’s doubtful that if the heir-to-throne, should he choose to be styled King Charles III, would be executed for high treason as was King Charles I. It’s also doubtful that the monarchy would be overthrown and Charles exiled, as was King Charles II.

Charles and Camilla Parker-Bowles certainly aren’t the most beloved Royals in Britain, but they won’t be executed. A coup to oust Charles? In this day in age, that’s not likely. Brits prefer that Charles be skipped over in the line of succession and William handed the Crown with Kate Middleton as his Queen.

That isn’t constitutionally possible and no matter how much the public wants that, Charles will not be bypassed in favor of William. Another highly unlikely possibility, one expressed by scores of British subjects, is that Prince Charles, Prince William, and Kate Middleton be bypassed altogether and Prince Harry be the next King.

Harry is fifth in line to the throne. Barring some unforeseen tragedy, the ginger-haired prince will never be King. When Prince Charles is coronated, his reign will probably be a short one. Does anyone believe the nearly 70-year-old prince’s time as King will last more than 10 to 15 years?

Prince William and Kate Middleton’s reign as King and Queen will probably last much longer than Prince Charles and Camilla Parker-Bowles’.

Does it really matter what name Charles chooses when he is crowned King? That’s the least of the prince’s problems. What to do with Camilla Parker-Bowles and how the world shall address the Duchess of Cornwall will certainly be a sticking point.

Queen Elizabeth, despite turning over countless patronages over to members of the Royal Family, isn’t ready to abdicate. For more news regarding the royal family, keep checking CDL.
