The “Real Housewives of New Jersey” cast are on their second cast trip for season eight. The first was a trip to Boca Raton, Florida, in March to celebrate Melissa Gorga’s birthday. Now the Jersey ladies are in Milan, Italy.
Per “Faux Reality” Teresa Giudice, Melissa Gorga, Danielle Staub, Margaret Josephs, Siggy Flicker and Dolores Cantania jetted off to Italy on May 8, 2017. The ladies are shopping for clothes for Melissa Gorga’s store Envy. Mel said last season she wants her inventory to look like clothes that you would find in her own closet.
Missy likes to stock things she likes, not what she anticipates her customers would like. Her ex business partner Jackie Beard pointed out that the store needs to have a variety of clothes to appeal to a wide selection of women. Mel nixed Jackie’s picks and insisted she knew what better what to stock in the store. Now that Melissa has Envy all to herself (Jackie ended their partnership and liquidated the inventory) she is enjoying being in control.
Surely the cast will also be shopping for themselves, too. There are no shortage of Christian Louboutin red bottom shoes on these ladies!
The Milan trip is the second cast trip to Italy. In season two Teresa, Jacqueline Laurita and Caroline Manzo took their families to southern Italy. They went on a cruise and made a visit to Teresa and her husband Joe’s parent’s home town of Sala Consilia. The Jersey families met Teresa and Joe’s grandparents and other relatives. This trip to Italy showed a different side of the ladies. It was about relaxing, enjoying the company of family, and of course Teresa and Jacqueline headed straight for the high end fashion stores. The drama between cast members was left at home.
The first trip to Italy was truly a vacation but will this trip be just as fun? The trip to Milan includes a completely different group of women accompanying Teresa overseas. Also, this is a working vacation for Missy. Season eight is Danielle’s first season on the show since season two. She is with almost all new cast members. Sparks may fly as all these different personalities try to agree on what they should see and do on the trip.
Recent reports indicate that the producers are sorry they didn’t invited Danielle back to RHONJ sooner. Danni is bringing back the feel and energy of seasons one and two. It’s safe to say the trip to Milan will be a typical Real Housewives cast trip.
