Selena Gomez and The Weeknd are dating, and if there’s one person who is not happy about it, it’s Bella Hadid. In fact, the model is raging mad that Selena stole her boyfriend. Bella and The Weeknd called it quits two months ago, but it was more of a break than a real break-up.
Just last November, it looked like Bella Hadid and The Weeknd were getting back together again. Everyone saw how The Weeknd looked at Bella when she walked the runway during his performance at the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show. Bella and The Weeknd shared a moment that was caught on camera.
But clearly, things didn’t work out for them. And now Bella is fuming mad. She even quietly unfollowed Selena Gomez on Instagram after media sites posted photos of Selena and The Weeknd making out together. Eyewitnesses say that Selena was hanging all over the Weeknd at the Giorgio Baldi in Santa Monica. Selena had her hands wrapped around him and even shared a few kisses with him.
To complicate things even more, Selena is good friends with Bella’s sister, Gigi Hadid. It’s without a doubt that Bella is going to have something to say about this. Did Gigi know about Selena’s secret relationship with The Weeknd before the media did? Is Gigi trying to protect both her sister Bella and her friend Selena? That’s what fans want to know.
On the other hand, Selena’s close friends and family members are worried that she might be moving too fast, too soon. After all, she just completed her stint in rehab. Back in September, Selena announced that she was taking a break from the spotlight to focus on her health.
She checked into a rehab facility to deal with her panic attacks and depression. That’s why her close inner circle of friends are worried that she might be making a mistake by dating The Weeknd. He might not be over ex Bella Hadid yet and the last thing Selena needs to deal with is a broken heart.
