Asha said she wanted to talk. But she hadn’t told Mills what she wanted to talk about and so he had been a little surprised when she showed up at his apartments afterwards wanting to discuss Mejia. Asha had wanted to how Mills had gotten his hands on the feed to a black ops site however he wouldn’t tell her and that made her even more concerned about him. So Asha to talk to Mills about how they both needed to move on from what happened to his sister because she didn’t want him to do something he’d regret and Mills had refused to listen to her.

Mills still misses his sister and knowing that she died because of him was something he couldn’t live with. So he felt like he needed revenge and he wasn’t going to listen to what Asha had to say even if she had a point yet, not long after Asha showed up at his apartment, Mills was alerted about a new threat and so he had asked Asha to stay at his apartment. However, she had wanted to know why and so he tried to tell her as much as he could. He said that the city had been on high alert and that a terrorist attack could be imminent. And Asha had wanted to know why he was so sure.

Then it dawned on her. She had realized that he was working with the people that wanted to prevent the attack and she had naturally panicked a bit because then she knew that an attack would most likely happen. So Mills had to put stop Asha from fleeing back to her own place and he was able to get through to her in time to make her listen to how serious the matter was though unfortunately Mills couldn’t stay with her and he had to report in to see who was at the heart of all the worrying.

Though the man in question had seemed to harmless on paper. Ismat Zahad had traveled to the US with his wife and son and he quickly got a job as a mechanic. So Mills later asked why Ismat was on the list and he got the full run down. He found out that Ismat’s cousin Tala Zahad had blew himself up near a crowded area and he had once been close to Tala. And so that seemed to be just a tragic story – only Ismat then bought two semi-automatic weapons last December and that’s how he ended up on the list.

So what got everyone so scared was the fact that they lost sight of Ismat. Ismat had been at the park with his son Amir and then they had lost all visual of Gwen Oaks which led them to believe that Ismat was on the loose and operational. But Mills and Hart had gone to speak with Ismat’s family and his son who had resented the way they were talking about his father had tried running away. And Mills followed him. Mills followed him to the community center and he grabbed the phone that Amir was trying to hide because he knew that it had something important on it.

Just Mills hadn’t known how important until he checked out the phone. Amir had apparently filmed his father’s kidnapping and that meant Ismat wasn’t the terrorist however someone who must have known that Ismat was on the list had tried to use that to their advantage. But no one knew who that person was until they caught him at Arlington Cemetery. So the man behind everything was Special Agent Mike Gilroy and he had kidnapped Ismat because of Jason Gilroy’s death. Jason had apparently died overseas and so Mike had wanted revenge.

Mike had wanted to force the hand foreign policy and renew interests on the warfront by staging a terrorist attack. However, Mike also went the additional step of framing Ismat because he wanted everyone to think it was an Islamic terrorist attack and not the militia which is what they call it when white men perform the terrorist attacks. So Mike explained everything. He said he and the others work in compartmentalize groups with each one carrying out a different order and it was as Hart was debriefing her bosses that “someone” called in with Ismat’s location.

Ismat was being held in a bathroom at a coffee shop and a bomb had been stapped to his chest. So Mills offered to stay with Ismat while the others tried to see if they could trade Mike Gilroy in exchange for the bomb not going off though Mills and Ismat hadn’t had it easy. The guys tried to see if they could diffuse it and that wasn’t possible so Ismat had tried to convince Mills to leave him behind because he said that if the building was empty then it didn’t matter what happened to him. Yet, Mills wasn’t having that.

Mills talk Ismat down and reminded him how much he had to live for. So together the men traveled through the air ducts to the water below where Mills knew that they wouldn’t have cell reception and that it would prevent the bomb from activating. Though Hart hadn’t known if her plan would work so she tried to go ahead with the exchange and it hadn’t worked out for her because Mike had been a little too smug, but thankfully by then Mills had already saved Ismat’s life and the bomb had been made redundant.

But what Mike had planned to do had been part of a much larger conspiracy. Mike had apparently been working with Burt Keagy who had been one of the men that Hart to debrief and wo had wanted the terror alert to be raised despite Ismat’s case being a domestic issue. So Hart had him taken out and his bodyguard however his last words had been that was more of him out there. And so the case wasn’t exactly closed.

Only Hart had found out that she had a tumor that was the size of a grape and that could be benign so she asked Harry to be her emergency contact and he said yes.

And Mills had gone home after a long day of work to Asha who had stayed like he suggested and the two were growing closer by the minute though Mills also made sure to pay a visit to Ismat and have a game of soccer with his new friend and Ismat’s son Amir.

THE END!
