Taylor Swift is usually the type of celebrity who moves next to her boyfriends. That hasn’t done her well in the past. She’s become known as the crazy girl who writes songs about her exes and moves next to whoever she’s dating. She loves to buy new property for a new boy toy. Taylor Swift has learned somewhat from her high-profile relationships. She is desperate to keep her new relationship with Joe Alwyn out of the public eye. She’s also having him move next door to her.
Everyone knows that Taylor Swift loves those British men. She hasn’t admitted that she’s an anglophile, but she might as well now. Taylor Swift knows how hard it is to hold onto a long-distance relationship. She did it with Harry Styles, Calvin Harris, and Tom Hiddleston. She doesn’t want her new relationship to dismantle so she’s having her boyfriend move to the states.
According to The Sun, Taylor Swift’s British boyfriend is moving to the U.S. to be closer to the pop star. The actor hopes the move will allow him to spend more time with Taylor Swift as he pursues an acting career in Hollywood. The 26-year-old also hopes his increased presence Taylor Swift will help him land Hollywood film roles. Though he’s an actor, it’s not like he’s had an A-list career. Why not use his famous girlfriend to help him land a role or two?
An alleged inside source told the British tabloid that Joe Alwyn wants to spend more time with Taylor Swift. He’s hoping that they can get to know each other better. Apparently, the two started dating in October 2016, shortly after her split from Tom Hiddleston. The singer loves to overlap her relationships. She did the same thing when she left Calvin Harris for a whirlwind romance with Tom Hiddleston.
Joe Alwyn loves his family though. Since he’s still close to his parents, he will regularly visit their London home. And everyone knows how much Taylor Swift loves Britain. She will look forward to joining him in London where she can walk around and live a “normal life,” claims the insider. The Sun just revealed last week that Taylor Swift was dating the British star. She has made frequent stops to London over the past few months.
Her fans assumed she was still seeing Tom Hiddleston. They were surprised to find out that she moved onto another British actor. Taylor Swift still wants to make her family a priority, however. She has been staying in the U.S. in recent months due to her mother’s cancer diagnosis. She was last photographed visiting her parents in Nashville earlier this month for Mother’s Day.
Taylor Swift and Joe Alwyn were introduced by mutual friends Gigi Hadid and Emma Stone. They both thought Joe Alwyn was a good match for Taylor Swift since he likes to live a quiet life away from the spotlight.
This new relationship was something she needed after splitting from ex-boyfriend Tom Hiddleston last September. Tom Hiddleston reportedly wanted their relationship to be more public while Taylor Swift wanted to be more private. That doesn’t stop her from singing about her string of relationships on her albums though.
