The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers tease that some fun material’s coming up for November sweeps, but there’s always room for improvement. The Young and the Restless, General Hospital and Days of Our Lives are all really bringing it right now. B&B might want to step up their game, so here are three exciting changes fans want to see.
1. Higher stakes
It wouldn’t hurt to raise the stakes a bit every now and then. When Quinn (Rena Sofer) and Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) cheated, they simply stole kisses. What happened to the days of truly torrid affairs? Let’s hope Bill (Don Diamont) and Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) are headed in that direction. We need to see some bold moves if B&B’s going to live up to its title.
Likewise, Liam (Scott Clifton) and Bill’s war would’ve been more satisfying with some consequences. Why not put Bill on trial or throw him behind bars for a while? When viewers know there could be real ramifications, crime drama matters more. Undoing the damage is easy with appeals later on.
2. More surprises
Soaps put out a lot of episodes every year, so some themes will inevitably be repeated. There are only so many types of storylines you can do. However, Bill literally just burned down Spectra and now he’s about to destroy it again. Quinn (Rena Sofer) and Sheila (Kimberlin) are also stuck in a Groundhog Day loop of fierce faceoffs. Fans would love to see a little less repetition and a few more surprises.
Fortunately, Ingo Rademacher will arrive as Thorne in November. Having this character in the mix will bring some new opportunities. The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers hint that Sheila could finally make play hardball as well. This character off her rocker, so B&B should take advantage of that. Bring on some Sheila insanity!
3. Feature additional characters
The Bold and the Beautiful has several great cast members they feature almost every week, but it wouldn’t hurt to spread the love. It’d be nice to see Caroline (Linsey Godfrey), Ivy (Ashleigh Brewer) and the Avant family back in the mix more often. Maybe it’s time for Rick (Jacob Young) and Maya (Karla Mosley) face another round of drama. Variety can be a good thing!
Perhaps Thorne’s return will lead to other comebacks and kick off Forrester chaos. The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say some excitement’s brewing, so B&B fans can look forward to positive changes.
