The Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers: All Thorne Wants For Christmas is Brooke's Love and Ridge's Misery - Ridge Is Going Down

The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers tease that Thorne (Ingo Rademacher) will make uneven progress toward his goal of taking Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) from Ridge (Thorsten Kaye). Bucking Bridge’s personal history won’t be easy, but B&B scripts will provide Rademacher’s character a shot to succeed as the Christmas season draws ever closer and 2018 dawns.

Thorne was working for the family business in Paris. The time away allowed him to heal after Aly’s (Ashlyn Pearce) death. He’s returned with a different face, as the recast to Rademacher enables B&B to write this character in a new direction. Early returns are promising, as the on-screen blood-boil between Rademacher and Kaye has been solid.

A variety of Los Angeles personas have taken notice of Thorne’s new confidence. As viewers have noticed, he’s measuring his comeback against perceptions of his half-brother. However, by banking on perceived, eventual success Thorne is setting himself up for a major fall if all, or most doesn’t flow as planned.

Marone (Ridge’s biological father’s last name) isn’t Eric’s (John McCook) son, as hardcore B&B devotees know and newer viewers have learned. Ridge resulted through an affair Stephanie (Susan Flannery) had. That epic reveal is known to all characters and was litigated long ago. But Thorne is pushing the emotional data mine hard in an attempt to throw his detested, bully brother off-course.

The uneven progress Thorne achieves will be split between business and personal interests. Eric will allow Thorne to assume a greater role in the company due to his expressed interest in designing. That development will establish ongoing interaction and resulting conflict with Ridge that will allow attack points to be scored on the brother board.

On the personal side, Thorne will soon learn that Brooke agreed to marry Ridge. However Logan isn’t aware that her seemingly soon-to-be groom inexplicably asked Quinn (Rena Sofer) to create the mega-bling engagement ring. Thorne will attempt to exploit Ridge’s foolish move with Logan the landlord once he learns that his big brother and ex-wife plan to remarry.

Yes, Brooke allowing Thorne to live in her palatial estate obviously serves as another angle that can be played. Proximity, Borne’s previous marriage and Brooke’s latent feelings for Thorne can’t be completely dismissed. And Ridge having already dismissed his little brother as a potential threat leaves Marone open for assault.

Finally, Thorne’s recently established connection to Sheila (Kimberlin Brown) spells trouble. Miss Carter will be helpful when called upon. Combine her resourcefulness with Thorne’s determination to finally knock Ridge off his undeserved perch and winning Brooke’s love remains possible, which also means Ridge’s misery would follow.
