The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers tease that Liam’s (Scott Clifton) moral outrage may put him at odds with his father again. As B&B viewers saw, Dollar Bill (Don Diamont) was serious about reconciling with Liam. But that will be on Bill’s terms.
So Wyatt (Darin Brooks) was talking with Bill in Spencer Publications CEO’s suite. Justin (Aaron Spears) was there as well. Liam’s brother then learned of the power-share arrangement Bill had devised. Both brothers had inked their contracts, along with Bill earlier.
In the new arrangement all Spencer men will be running the company. Liam apparently didn’t consider what having three cooks in the kitchen actually meant before inking the agreement.
One reason why Liam isn’t and may never be ready to head a major corporation is that he doesn’t realize that there are many people, both men and women, who play ball like Bill in the business world. Lose too many rounds of three-dimensional chess and the game is over. No profits means that no charitable contributions from excess can be offered to anyone.
As Bill told Wyatt, a democratic vote would be taken if there were any disagreements regarding company policies and its direction moving forward. Wyatt pledged full support to his father. A 2-1 voting bloc had been established, with the one being Liam if he opted to oppose.
Sky, in all her gray rook glory, was then wheeled back into the corporate suite that she knew so well. Bill and Justin explained that Liam wasn’t authorized to give Sally (Courtney Hope) anything.
Bill was the only person who could legally make decisions about that property, therefore Sally holds title to nothing. That also means the loan she took against perceived property wasn’t legit.
Shortly thereafter Liam returned and was stunned to see the seemingly dropped skyscraper model looking at him. He asked his dad what the deuce was going on.
As B&B fans will see, Bill is willing to be reasonable. He’ll give Sally some relocation options. But Liam will insist that the $50 million giveaway deal he made stays in place.
If he’s wise and has also allowed his thinking to progress, Liam will quickly regain his grip. He’ll also realize that Sally should be allowed to make a decision that isn’t colored by his self-anointed social justice warrior’s view of the world.
Spectra Fashions doesn’t rely on foot traffic at its current location to do business. Sally can head her company from virtually anywhere in Los Angeles. But Liam believes that his way is not only right, but also indisputable.
As Bill might say, “Liam, it’s just good business. And you, son, signed a contract that gives you just one vote in this company.”
Maybe Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) will need to talk Liam down again?
