The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers tease that Maya (Karla Mosley) will face a shocker. Carter (Lawrence Saint-Victor) will mention something out of the blue next week. He’ll bring up his history with Maya and she’ll be left wondering what his motives are.
Carter will talk about some old wounds and let Maya know how much their relationship meant to him. He’ll hint that they had a lot of potential as a couple. This could be the first of many bombshells. Carter will likely ease into it, but he’ll eventually express interest in reuniting with Maya. He won’t think their love story has to be over just yet.
Of course, Maya will be taken aback by Carter’s desires. She’s a married woman! Maya is devoted to Rick (Jacob Young) and they’re raising a young daughter together. She may not want to disrupt the life she’s built with Lizzie and her husband. Carter should face some rejection, but he probably won’t give up. He may believe Maya’s worth fighting for.
This B&B storyline is obviously coming out of nowhere, but at least it’s a nice change of pace. Plus, it’ll give Mosley and Saint-Victor some interesting material. They rarely get airtime these days, so the fact that their characters have a story at all is good news.
The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Maya will have to make some tough decisions down the road. Rick will become increasingly preoccupied by Forrester Creations drama. As Thorne (Ingo Rademacher) relies on Rick more and more, Maya may feel a bit neglected. She might long for the attention Carter’s willing to give her.
Will Maya have an affair with Carter? B&B may have to approach this situation carefully. They’ve put Maya on a moral pedestal ever since she was revealed as transgender. The show also portrayed Rick and Maya as a picture-perfect couple. The Bold and the Beautiful naturally wanted to tell a story of love and acceptance.
Still, cheating is common on soaps and that may be what it’s going to take to give these characters something juicy. As we saw with Quinn (Rena Sofer) and Ridge (Thorsten Kaye), forbidden kisses are enough to cause major trouble. Will Carter and Maya do even more than lock lips? It’s certainly possible!
