The Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers: Daddy Liam Learns The Horrible Truth – Bill and Steffy Must Redeem Themselves

The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers tease that Bill (Don Diamont) is committed to putting the past behind him once he learns that Liam (Scott Clifton) is the father of Steffy’s (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) child. Actually both members of Dollar Still have agreed that Liam must never know the truth, which further confirms that Bill and Steffy are deplorable.

Loose lips sink beautiful ships. So Steffy better hope that Pam (Alley Mills) never overhears her talking with Bill about their night at the Forrester mansion guest house. Pam might feel compelled to spill that shocking news to her newly made friend Sheila (Kimberlin Brown), after which inevitable doom would surely result.

Steffy was right to seek an immediate paternity test. She needed to know who fathered the baby who’s in her, or his first three months of life. Words that attempt to distract from reality, like trimester (instead of first three months), try to dehumanize the greatest miracle on planet earth.

Misguided minds who have chosen to believe in amorality would also likely see Dollar Still as nothing more than two people going where there feelings took them. That assertion fully implies that human beings are identical to animals, which we are not. Beware of the Bill’s and Steffy’s of the world, as they give license to doing anything at any time and then covering it up, if that’s possible.

The rub in this storyline strikes personality types. Minds that have convinced themselves that any impulse is okay to pursue, as long as it doesn’t hurt anyone are nothing more than reckless individuals.

Liam will be devastated when, not if, he learns that his father had relations with his wife. So, in order not to hurt anyone, the amoral would suggest that Steffy withhold information from him. How often would such advice have been offered and what would the adviser’s experience level with such scenarios be as well? That is the question to ask, rather than focusing on Steffy’s options.

Misguided souls may refuse to acknowledge that Steffy is actually lying in order to protect herself, not Liam. Her behavior would be explained away as somehow okay because she had chosen to do better.

All who recently chided Sheila for her aggressive acts against Quinn (Rena Sofer) must also recognize that Bill is the far greater villain. Sheila acted out of a twisted sense of loyalty to Eric (John McCook). She was wrong in doing so, but at least had evidence that spurred her plan with Mateo (Francisco San Martin).

In contrast, Bill had no justification and behaved like, wait for it, an animal. That’s his nature, right? No, it’s not. Dollar Bill made a free will choice, but could have restrained himself. Amoralists can’t bring themselves to concede that infinite point.

As Steffy recently told Bill, he took advantage of her when she was in a deeply vulnerable state. There’s was obviously something broken inside Bill’s soul. Here’s hoping that this despicable situation forces a permanent change in his behavior.

All sharp critiques shouldn’t only cite flaws, as that would present the observer flawless. So a belief in redemption must also be firmly pushed.

Bill and Steffy now have an opportunity to pursue better lives. Their past actions prove that they can make passionate decisions. Here’s hoping they build off their humanity and become better people, in time.
