The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers tease that the anticipated romance between Liam (Scott Clifton) and Sally (Courtney Hope) will spark under the rubble of the fallen Spectra Fashions building that Bill (Don Diamont) owns. A rescue will take place after a kiss, thus telegraphing the eventual end of Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) and Liam’s marriage.
Liam is naive when it comes to business matters and romantic signals. Everyone in Los Angeles recognizes that Sally has a major crush on Liam. But he can’t and that’s proved to create major problems in his life.
While not totally tone deaf, Clifton’s character has allowed his zeal in fighting for the perceived ‘little guy’, or in this case ‘little Sally-girl’, which is Shirley’s (Patrika Darbo) nickname for her granddaughter, to cloud common sense.
Steffy begged her husband not to go ahead with his proposed sit-in. But he did and Sally stood by her man. Yes, her man, not Steffy’s. That couple is being projected by the current B&B storyline.
Bill sent Justin (Aaron Spears) to be his lookout. He wanted to make sure that Sally, her minions and Liam were out of the building before he flipped the demolition switch.
Justin used binoculars to verify that all five protestors had escaped the main building after an outer warehouse had been toppled. That strategic drop happened first in order to scare the rats. Redeemed Dollar Bill wouldn’t call Sally, her three-person staff and Liam rodents, but readers know what this scribe meant.
While all five characters did scurry, Liam changed his mind and went back in. Sally followed. They subsequently survived an entire multistory building falling on them. Yes, that was impossible, but good soap. This pressured plot point generated a seeming death scene where Sally and Liam kissed.
Meanwhile, Steffy arrived a moment too late at the demolition headquarter’s spot. She wasn’t able to prevent Bill from apparently killing Liam and his work wife. Sally isn’t Liam’s co-worker, or employee. But that was a funny line.
Bill’s horror leads to a daring rescue attempt, which results in both characters being rescued. The kiss revelation will damage trust between Steffy and Liam. The bond between Liam and and Sally will grow as Bill and Steffy continue to bond.
Might Bill and Steffy become B&B’s next great couple? Does Liam realize that Sally is actually his biggest fan and could be future wife material? The potential answers to both questions are why fans watch this great soap.
