The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers for Thursday, June 1, tease that Katie (Heather Tom) will have a hard time accepting the mess she’s stuck in. She doesn’t want to devastate Eric (John McCook), but she’s not sure she can keep deceiving him like this. It’s been tough for Katie to let Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) and Quinn (Rena Sofer) get away with their actions.
Now that Katie knows Ridge is living in the guesthouse, she’s even more concerned about the situation. Katie will argue that if Ridge wants to be close to his father, that’s fine. Being close to his father’s wife is a different story. Katie can’t just pretend she doesn’t know about Ridge and Quinn’s steamy bond.
As Katie continues to fume, B&B spoilers say her emotions will finally explode. She’ll have a bit of a meltdown in Thursday’s episode. The Bold and the Beautiful sneak peek shows Katie crying as she declares, “Lying to people for their own good has caused more misery than the cold, hard truth ever has.”
Of course, Katie is speaking from personal experience. When Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) and Bill (Don Diamont) started sneaking around, it forced Katie down a dark path. She began to drink and nearly destroyed her life. The fact that they initially denied everything drove Katie crazy.
Eric’s circumstances are a bit different since he’s blissfully unaware of the betrayals within his own family. He still thinks Quinn is the perfect, loyal wife. Eric feels like Ridge is a new man these days as well. Maybe Brooke or Ivy (Ashleigh Brewer) will remind Katie of that. One of them could contend that what Eric doesn’t know won’t hurt him.
Meanwhile, Quinn will try to pull away from Ridge’s tempting lips. They just fell back on the bed together and are making out ferociously. The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Quinn will suggest that they should stop. Will her lips be able to follow orders? Will Quinn and Ridge take their connection a step further?
Elsewhere, Eric will speak with Thomas (Pierson Fode) once again. He’ll hope that he can change his grandson’s mind about leaving Forrester Creations. However, Eric’s pitch won’t alter Thomas’ decision. He’s standing by Sally and gearing up for a bright future at Spectra.
