The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers tease that a huge shocker is coming up in 2017 on the CBS soap. It looks like one character is about to bite the dust. B&B likes to shake things up like this every now and then. They occasionally throw in a jaw-dropping plot point to keep the audience on the edge of their seats.
Of course, there are also disadvantages to a move like this. After the excitement dies down, we’re left with one less role on The Bold and the Beautiful. Viewers were outraged when B&B killed off Aly (Ashlyn Pearce). The twist gave us some great drama, but then the fan favorite was simply gone forever.
In other words, the payoff isn’t always worth it. Nevertheless, The Bold and the Beautiful is apparently gearing up for another stunning exit according to TV Week. There are two characters that come to mind as real contenders. Linsey Godfrey (Caroline) and Felisha Cooper (Sasha) were both recently taken off contract.
There’s no guarantee Caroline or Sasha will get killed off, but people would have very different responses depending on which one they went with. Caroline has loyal fans who would love to see her get back in the action. Godfrey is a solid actress and would definitely be missed.
Plus, it seems like a waste to get rid of Caroline entirely. They want to rest the character, but that doesn’t mean they have to throw her out. When The Bold and the Beautiful inevitably runs out of ideas for their current featured players, Caroline could come around again.
Still, Godfrey might be ready to pursue other opportunities. That’s especially true after they just cast her aside. As for Sasha, she might actually be a decent character to kill off. The Avant clan has pretty much disappeared lately. Sasha wasn’t the kind of character you really get attached to anyway.
Cooper is a fine performer and she injected some life into an otherwise boring scenario. The surrogacy stuff was a little lackluster, but at least it was fun watching Sasha stir the pot. She was sort of a mild villainess and was useful for the storylines she was part of.
However, it almost feels like Sasha’s character has reached a dead end (literally!). B&B doesn’t seem to have anything on the horizon for Sasha, so maybe her demise is in the works. We can’t count out the possibility that someone else is a goner though. An upcoming departure may have been kept under wraps.
