The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers tease that Steffy’s (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) pregnancy will force Dollar Still’s existence to be revealed. Yes, the night of passion that Steffy and Bill (Don Diamont) shared will result in another Spencer heir being born. However, Liam (Scott Clifton) will be told that he’s the father at first.
Liam suspected nothing when Steffy returned home a few weeks ago. She’d stormed off, disgusted that her husband had betrayed their wedding vows and sought solace with her father-in-law.
The resulting hours of passion were followed by Steffy’s enduring shock at what she’d done. How could she possibly have slept with Bill in response to Liam merely having admitted that he and Sally (Courtney Hope) kissed?
In retrospect, Lally wasn’t becoming a couple. Instead, Liam and Sally were enrapt in a perilous moment where perceived imminent death was rapidly approaching.
Sally was recently caught by Liam. She hadn’t been telling the full truth about where she went after leaving their house on the night in question. B&B fans learned why Eric (John McCook) and Quinn (Rena Sofer) made their way down to the guest house after the aforementioned deed took place between Steffy and Bill. Queric saw that the bed and shower had been used and also found Steffy’s bracelet.
The accessory has since become a piece of evidence that Liam was given by Quinn, who had no idea she was opening a massive can of soapy worms. Liam’s subsequent questioning of his wife deepened the lies that Princess Steffy is telling her husband.
Liam will be temporarily distracted by the announcement that he’ll be a father in 2018. The genetic link between he and Bill also make a paternity test reveal an ill-advised writer’s room option.
So Steffy’s plan will be to play off her pregnancy as the natural result of relations with Liam. He’ll understandably be willing to believe what his wife tells him. Why would he suspect otherwise, or ever think that his own father is actually the father of Steffy’s forthcoming child?
Bill is as conflicted as Steffy by what happened between them and wants his daughter-in-law to maintain their secret forever. He’ll take the same initial stance when it comes to his baby. However, as time lengthens, Dollar Bill will claim Steffy’s baby as his own. Liam will naturally go wild, return Bill’s punch to the face and seek comfort in Sally’s life.
