The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers documented what some would call the sordid interaction between Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) and Bill (Don Diamont). However, those who are more enlightened know that Bill wasn’t taking advantage of the situation, but merely expressing his deep love. Yes, Liam (Scott Clifton) deserves to lose his wife and not because she’s the lesser person.
All evolved minds realize that Bill’s feelings for Steffy are infinitely stronger than Liam’s are for his undeserved wife. They also see the simplicity in Mrs. Forrester keeping her last name intact by simply switching husband’s.
Shrieks can now be heard across the digital world. So those bold, but hardly beautiful deniers must now be sidelined with a cogent question.
What if Liam and Sally (Courtney Hope) would have died before Bill and Steffy heroically saved them? That question is aimed directly at all Dollar Still (Steffy and Bill) detractors.
Well, well, well, the collective lack of response is very telling. Okay, let’s make the query clearer so that no one can claim to misunderstand, or purposely try to talk away from the life-altering subject at hand.
What if high and mighty Liam and Sally the attempted husband-stealer had been crushed to death before they were located and weren’t pulled from the wreckage by Bill and Steffy’s selfless actions?
Okay, here’s what those who despise Bill and Steffy refuse to acknowledge. Liam would have died as a cheater. Steffy would have been widowed because of Liam’s stupid decision to reenter a building that he knew was set to be demolished. But wait there’s more.
Sally would have died as the woman who induced another man to break his wedding vows. Bill’s subsequent actions with Steffy, which broke his vows with Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang), would never have been set in motion. Liam’s subsequent purging admission wouldn’t have understandably disgusted Steffy, which then made her see Bill’s light.
This scribe won’t deny that Bill and Steffy shared their feelings in the Forrester Mansion’s guest house, or that Steffy awoke later and convinced herself to feel guilt, instead of release. He won’t overlook the fact that Steffy then went back to Liam and apologized. In so doing, she continued to allow that guy’s unbalanced emotions to skew her view of reality.
What type of man takes more of an interest in the life of a woman who isn’t his wife? An entitled jerk, that’s who.
Yes, Liam thinks he actually deserves unceasing access to the intelligent and vivacious Steffy. He believes that Steffy will never cut him off no matter what he does. And to-date he’s right. That jerk hasn’t suffered a permanent consequence for all of his many actions.
There is only one person who appears to possess the ability to force Steffy to see what Liam has done to her. That man knows Liam better than anyone because he’s his father.
That’s right, Steffy would be better off if her father-in-law legally switches titles and becomes her husband. Bill is clearly Steffy’s soul mate, whereas Liam is better matched to Sally.
Bill will likely persist with his pitch. Hopefully, Steffy will eventually realize that he’s trying to help her. Until then she’ll continue to be hampered by that self-involved pompous pill, Liam.
