The Haves and Have Nots spoilers for this week begin with Katheryn Cryer (Renee Lawless) and Veronica Harrington (Angela Robinson) still fighting with a knife. They scuffle over the knife, Veronica gets slashed, and Katheryn gets stabbed and falls down the stairs. But Katheryn isn’t out of the game yet. Veronica tries to run out of the house but all the doors are on automatic lock down and she can’t escape.
Gullible Benny Young (Tyler Lepley) still believes his sister, Candace Young (Tika Sumpter), is going to come through with the money he needs to keep his towing company. But his mother, Hannah Young (Crystal Fox), knows better and isn’t waiting to get bailed out. She makes plans, starts packing, and gets ready to move on with her grandson Quincy Jr. (Jordan Preston Carter).
Warlock “War” Lewis (Jon Chaffin) and Jim Cryer (John Schneider) are still stuck in a jail cell waiting to be released. Warlock wants out bad; he needs to even the score with Candace. Jim and Warlock are becoming impatient and are starting to get nasty with each other. Meanwhile, David Harrington (Peter Parros) is supposed to be working on their release but he seems to have his interests in other places.
And Candace is watching over David to keep track of Jim and Warlock; she needs to watch her back very carefully. So she sends her call girl friend Erica (Presilah Nunez) to pretend to do the damsel-in-distress thing and David gets hooked. He’s coming out of a marriage and is somewhat hesitant but she’s too hot to turn down. Erica is gorgeous and attentive and young and David and is very interested and loving all the attention that he never received from his wife. She’s seducing him and he has no idea of what is going on.
What is Candace setting him up for? What is she hoping to get? She’s going to blackmail Jim with some very compromising photos; his career will be ruined. Candace wants the money back that she blackmailed out of Jim. It’s her life line and Benny needs his towing company and house back. And most of all a girl needs a little spending money, right?
