The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Thursday, May 4, tease that Abby (Melissa Ordway) will feel like she must be missing something. She can’t seem to find out any details about what happened with Dina Mergeron (Marla Adams). Abby realizes Ashley hates Dina’s guts, but she’s just not sure why.
When Ashley continues to dance around the issue, Abby will confront her about the past. She won’t understand why she doesn’t know her only living grandparent. Ashley will insist that knowing Dina would only lead to anger and heartbreak. She doesn’t want Abby to deal with all the drama.
Nevertheless, Abby won’t rest until she gets some answers. She’ll think her family owes her an explanation. The Young and the Restless fans will recall that Ashley isn’t a real Abbott. John (Jerry Douglas) wasn’t her biological father, so that’s obviously something Ashley would like to keep hidden. She’ll do whatever she can to make Abby back off.
Unfortunately, Y&R buzz hints that Ashley’s secret could be on the verge of exposure. If Ashley crosses Dina, she’d better watch out! Ash could have some chaos headed her way. In the meantime, Victoria (Amelia Heinle) will mull over the “Philly” situation. She hates that Billy (Jason Thompson) has moved on with Phyllis (Gina Tognoni), but there isn’t much she can do about it.
Cane (Daniel Goddard) will hope that he can become Victoria’s favorite around the office. He’ll soon realize that it won’t be an easy task. Victoria may not be happy with Billy at the moment, but she still cares about him. No matter what happens between them, they’re always going to be co-parents.
When Victoria mentions that Billy is a good dad, Cane will be miffed. He’ll think that’s a lame reason to keep Billy around at Brash and Sassy. Cane might argue that Billy can still be a great father if Victoria kicks him to the curb. Of course, it’s doubtful Victoria will be willing to toss Billy aside.
Other Young and the Restless spoilers state that Billy and Phyllis will have an announcement to make. They’ll pay Jack (Peter Bergman) a visit to give him updates on their reunion. This news won’t please Jack, but he’ll try to keep his bitterness in check. At least Jack has Gloria (Judith Chapman) in his life now.
Speaking of Gloria, she’ll grow concerned about job security. Thanks to some new developments, Gloria will fear that she could lose her position at Jabot.
