The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Monday, August 7, tease that Victoria (Amelia Heinle) will struggle to understand her actions. After she wakes up in bed with Ben Hochman (Ben Hermes), Victoria will nervously gather her clothes. Ben will want to grab breakfast together, but Victoria will decline the offer. She’ll realize that she sent the babysitter texts last night about staying with the kids.
After Hilary (Mishael Morgan) spots them together, she’ll figure out that they must have gotten a room. She’ll share the news with Jack (Peter Bergman) and he’ll kick off a sneaky scheme. When Jack meets up with Phyllis (Gina Tognoni), he’ll suggest that the payoff is about to arrive. It looks like he ordered a bouquet and signed Ben’s name.
At Brash and Sassy, Billy (Jason Thompson) will confront Victoria about the flowers that came for her. He’ll want her to admit that she had more than just dinner with Ben. Elsewhere, Devon (Bryton James) will congratulate Hilary (Mishael Morgan) about the commercial gig. He’ll hug her for rising to the challenge as usual.
At home, Lily (Christel Khalil) will fret about her family. After Neil (Kristoff St. John) stops by to provide some comfort, it’ll be Jordan’s (Darnell Kirkwood) turn to console her. Lily will admit that she threw Cane (Daniel Goddard) out over the last round of trouble.
Meanwhile, Cane will give Juliet (Laur Allen) updates on his role in the footage scandal. She’ll be appalled, but Cane won’t think she has room to talk. Y&R spoilers say Cane will complain about his failing marriage and being thrown out of the house.
Juliet will suggest that she’s sorry things went south. She’ll pull out an ultrasound picture and assure Cane that he’s going to be a great dad to their child. At Crimson Lights, Mariah (Camryn Grimes) will gush about her San Francisco trip. Sharon (Sharon Case) will be pleased to hear that Mariah’s relationship is on the right track.
Talk will turn to Noah (Robert Adamson) and Tessa’s (Cait Fairbanks) romance. Mariah will insist that Tessa is a genuine person. The Young and the Restless spoilers state that Noah will find Sharon a little later. He’ll wonder if Sharon would be willing to let Tessa stay at her place. Noah won’t want Tessa to feel like she’s trapped at the ranch with Victor (Eric Braeden).
At the pool bar, Mariah (Camryn Grimes) will stop and stare at Tessa. She’ll recall their kiss before sitting down beside her. They’ll agree that the trip moved their relationships along. When Hilary shows up, she’ll tell Mariah about the upcoming commercial shoot. Hilary will be leaving the show in Mariah’s hands, but she won’t want her to forget who’s in charge.
After Hilary stomps off, a waitress will tell Tessa that she can’t put anything on the Newman tab. Mariah and Tessa will joke about washing dishes as they scrap together the cash. They’ll share a good chuckle before Tessa touches Mariah’s hand.
The Young and the Restless spoilers hint that Devon will notice how close they’re getting. He’ll squint in their direction when he appears. How long can Tessa and Mariah hide what they’re feeling?
