The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers reveal that one schemer has officially left Genoa City. The latest comings and goings news states that Jordan (Darnell Kirkwood) is already out of town. He got what he wanted, which was revenge on Hilary (Michael Morgan). Of course, leaking Hilary’s nude photos could come back to bite Jordan. That’s why he figured he should disappear for a while.
However, there could be a big bombshell brewing. Word has it that Jordan could pop up for another stunt of some sort down the road. If Hilary recovers from his first blow, will Jordan come back to deliver another? The Young and the Restless spoilers suggest that Hilary should stay on guard. It’d be wise for Jordan to watch out, too. Hilary could turn the tables on her cruel enemy if he’s not careful.
Zack (Ryan Ashton) certainly ended up in that situation when Crystal (Morgan Obenreder) appeared out of nowhere and shot him dead. It was a shocking scene, but it was no surprise that Zack received a grim sendoff. Ryan Ashton definitely agrees! In an interview with Soap Opera Digest, Ashton talked about his character arc and when he knew the end was near.
“The second I learned that Zack was involved with a sex ring, I knew it wouldn’t end well for him,” Ashton said. “Honestly, I’m surprised it even lasted as long as it did.” Ashton added that “killing off Zack is the right call.” He spoke highly of all his costars and suggested that wrapping up his role was like finishing summer camp.
There was only one problem Ashton ran into during his stint. He noted that 97-year-old grandma couldn’t stand watching him play such a baddie! “My grandmother even refused to watch some of the episodes,” Ashton said. “How cute is that?” Cute indeed!
In other departure news, Lisa Guerrero is done as Kerry Forrest. This anchor served her purpose and must be happily reporting off screen. Fortunately, we also have some returns to talk about. It looks like Kevin (Greg Rikaart) and Traci (Beth Maitland) will be back for more Y&R appearances soon.
Plus, JT (Thad Luckinbell) is returning on December 12 and Jill (Jess Walton) will follow on December 18. Those airdates are getting closer, so check back for interesting tidbits about their stories.
