The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Chloe Won’t Be Caught – Victor’s Search Brings Shocking Adam Newman News

The Young and the Restless spoilers tease that Chloe (Elizabeth Hendrickson) will remain missing, which isn’t a surprise. Savvy fans know that Hendrickson’s contract ended this spring and that she’s left the soap, for the time being. However, Victor’s (Eric Braeden) exit from Genoa City naturally has characters and fans alike wondering where he is and what he’s doing.

Victor’s search for the woman who he believes killed his son will persist, meaning that Chloe won’t be located. However, people The Moustache meets in Canada will provide him with information that appears to relate to Adam (Justin Hartley).

Hartley departed Y&R last summer on good terms, but won’t be returning to his role. His nighttime NBC show ‘This Is Us’ has proven to be a major hit and was given an unusual two-season renewal. That means the Adam character will have to be recast if TPTB decide to revive this character.

If executive producer Mal Young and co-executive producer and head writer Sally Sussman decide that Adam will be returning, Victor’s contacts will provide him with leads that ignites a return arc. Speculation regarding Michael Muhney returning to the cast will then ensue and won’t be half-baked. That actor was in the running to return in 2014, before Hartley was hired.

If Adam does remain dead, then Victor will simply come in contact with people who knew his son when he was alive. Whatever he learns will provide a previously unknown piece of information about Adam that no one in Genoa City was aware of.

It seems more likely than not that Y&R has chosen to write-out Adam indefinitely, as his main nemesis is now also out of Genoa City. Chloe admitted to blowing up the cabin before she flew to Thunder Bay, Ontario on Victor’s corporate jet. Having her do so provided important missing details fans weren’t shown last September when the explosion took place.

Adam’s widow, Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) has paired with Nick (Joshua Morrow). The transition from Chadam to Chick began under former head writer Chuck Pratt, Junior’s tenure and has continued under the current writing regime. So Chelsea and Adam’s son Connor (Gunner and Ryder Gadbois) are accounted for.

Sussman’s own words stand as evidence that the Christian (Jude and Ozzy McGuigen) paternity issue will remain unresolved, which appears to mean that Adam’s resurrection isn’t happening (right now). Sussman advised that she didn’t want to do a paternity reveal involving “a character who is off-camera”. Adam is off-camera and therefore can’t be used to clarify who Christian’s dad supposedly is.

While Hendrickson is no longer a part of the cast, she did film advanced scenes regarding Bella’s (Cali May Kinder) paternity. Adam’s son remains in Nick’s arms for the time being. If Hartley had filmed advanced scenes relating to Christian’s paternity, it seems like they would have been shown long ago.
