The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Chloe’s Death Faked, All Part of Victor’s Elaborate Scheme – Chloe Is Alive

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that something fishy could be going on. Chloe’s (Elizabeth Hendrickson) sudden death will rock several Genoa City residents to the core, but is she really gone for good? The circumstances surrounding Chloe’s demise are awfully suspicious.

Just before the Dr. Harris left, Chloe nearly plunged some scissors into his back. If she considered going that far to protect herself, it’s strange that she would choose to take her own life minutes later. It seems doubtful that suicide is the true cause of death.

Murder is another option, but there are problems with that idea as well. It’s clear that Victor (Eric Braeden) would have a motive to get rid of Chloe, but would he actually do it? Victor is known for his devious moves, but he tends to avoid homicide if at all possible. There’s no point in making a bigger mess than he has to.

The Young and the Restless fans will recall when Victor used Kelly (Cady McClain) as part of his plot against Jack (Peter Bergman). That was yet another example of how Victor teamed up with someone unhinged. The scheme backfired spectacularly, but Victor at least tried to make it work.

To put that plan in motion, Victor helped Kelly fake her death. He may have done the same thing with Chloe. Y&R viewers obviously can’t trust Dr. Harris. Since he’s the one who declares Chloe dead, he could easily be lying. Chloe could’ve been given a drug to slow her heartrate and mimic her passing.

As for the body in the morgue, that may not truly be Chloe. Once the sheet is removed, anyone could be under there. It could even be a lookalike. Perhaps Victor placed another order to “Doppelgangers R Us.” Those Peruvian prisons must be full of ‘em.

Regardless, all of this seems just a bit too convenient. It’s tough to believe this is the end of the road for Chloe. Victor was the one who forced her to join forces. He convinced Chloe to help him frame Adam (Justin Hartley) and everything went downhill from there. Maybe Victor’s guilt just wouldn’t let him call for Chloe’s murder.

If Chloe’s death was faked, Victor might even let Kevin (Greg Rikaart) in the loop eventually. Could they run off to some exotic island and raise Bella (Gia Poeme) without fear?
