The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Thursday, January 5, tease that Gloria (Judith Chapman) will plan on shaking things up once again. It seems like Gloria always manages to cause trouble, even when her intentions are good. The preview clip shows Gloria giving Kevin (Greg Rikaart) and Chloe (Elizabeth Hendrickson) some surprising news.
Gloria will announce that she’s going to drop by the design studio and brighten Chelsea’s (Melissa Claire Egan) day by going back to work. Kevin will raise his eyebrows as he looks in Chloe’s direction. Chloe will nearly choke on her coffee as she processes Gloria’s revelation. They know Gloria tends to be more of a pain than a helper.
Meanwhile, Nick (Joshua Morrow) and Chelsea will share a tender moment. Now that they’ve had some time to mull it over, they’ll want to revisit the topic of New Year’s Eve. Chelsea and Nick shared a steamy kiss, but they kind of brushed past it. They’ll decide to rehash their feelings in Thursday’s episode.
Nick and Chelsea will likely stick to friendship, but they’ll agree that they had a nice evening. They’ll just be grateful that they didn’t have to spend the holiday alone. It was going to be a tough night without Adam (Justin Hartley) and Sage (Kelly Sullivan). Seeing each other made New Year’s Eve a little more bearable for Chelsea and Nick.
The Young and the Restless spoilers state that Sharon (Sharon Case) will stumble upon their warm embrace in Thursday’s Y&R episode. She’ll seem curious about their growing connection. Sharon once tried to push Nick in Chelsea’s direction. Will she still like the idea of them being together? Regardless, Sharon could make this situation a bit awkward.
Other Young and the Restless spoilers reveal that Devon (Bryton James) will finally open his eyes. The preview video shows Devon’s blurry vision becoming clearer as Stitch (Sean Carrigan) assures him he can do this. Devon will wake up, but he’ll have a lengthy road to recovery. This accident will certainly have long-term effects.
On top of Devon’s injuries, his relationship with Hilary (Mishael Morgan) is still in turmoil. Will Devon be quick to forgive or will he give Hilary the cold shoulder?
