With Valentine’s Day right around the corner will love be in the air on The Young and the Restless? There are plenty of single ladies in Genoa City and we really don’t need to see Cane (Daniel Goddard) and Lily (Christel Khalil) in her underwear again. It is time for some new love connections!
While there have been whispers of a possible romance between Mariah (Camryn Grimes) and Devon (Bryton James), a much more interesting scenario is Mariah and Ravi (Abhi Sinha). She was so endearing during her horrible ordeal at the hands of Hilary (Mishael Morgan). Let’s get this girl some love! Who didn’t enjoy their banter at the New Year’s Eve Gala? When she asked, “what’s your sign?” and Ravi responded, “pi” the audience was rolling. Beyond a good laugh there is chemistry there that needs to be explored.
Abby (Melissa Ordway) is newly single and CDL Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers report that actor Sean Carrigan (who portrayed Abby’s ex, Ben) recently signed up for a starring role on Netflix. Not only is Abby beautiful and very available but with her Newman name any relationship she is in can get complicated quickly under Victor’s (Eric Braeden) watchful eye. We recently saw Abby at Devon’s bedside during his recent hospitalization. A Devon and Abby pairing could be hot, hot, hot.
Let’s not forget Hilary. Never to be outdone, her response to Devon moving on could easily mean renewed interest in Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman). She likes her men powerful and rich and you don’t get much more of either in Jack – not to mention gullible. While he rebuffed Hilary’s advance before, he is single now and needs more in his life than trying to acquire Fenmore’s.
Ashley (Eileen Davidson) could also use a little romance now that she can stop worrying about Jack’s marriage. While Ravi’s crush was flattering, Ashley needs a powerful man. There is no denying the powerful connection between Victor and Ashley but it would seem that ship has already sailed. Could Michael Knight come back as Dr. Neville?
