The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers reveal Graham Bloodworth (Max Shippee) arrived in Genoa City, and at first, it wasn’t clear whether he was Dina Mergeron’s (Marla Adams) lover, business adviser or something else. What was clear was that he was very possessive and protective of her, especially when it came to her children, Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson), Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) and Traci Abbott Connolly (Beth Maitland).
The Young and the Restless spoilers tease that the Abbott siblings have not spoken much about Dina and her will lately, and that might be for good reason. Ashley and Jack flew down to Florida to find their mother, Dina, after Graham disappeared with her from her hospital room, only to discover she is suffering from Alzheimer’s. Remember how Graham told Jack when he took Dina “good luck!”? Jack didn’t take Dina because he had the right to legally do so – he was able to take her because Graham LET him!
As we have witnessed on Y&R recently, Dina can go from being very coherent to very delusional and confused within seconds. In Dina’s current condition the Abbotts may have been advised that Dina is not of sound mind to make legal decisions. Seeing Dina’s reaction to people learning of her illness, how would she react to facing a judge and courtroom or to be evaluated on whether she can make those decisions.
The Young and the Restless spoilers tease that Graham isn’t done with Dina and the Abbott family. Jack and Ashley are up in arms and disagree on just about everything these days. This dispute will culminate in outright war on new Y&R episodes the week of December 25. Brother and sister continue to argue over how to run Jabot who is the better CEO.
A board meeting will be called once it is announced that Jill Abbott Atkinson (Jess Walton) wants to sell Chancellor Industries – Jack wants to buy it, while Ashley doesn’t. This is the perfect time for Graham to return, to create more chaos, he currently has power of attorney when it comes to Dina and all her affairs, and can use her votes to sway the decision either way.
Graham continues to taunt the Abbott family when it comes to their mother, Dina, and his power over her. Imagine how satisfying it will be when the siblings unite and are able to prove that Graham is nothing more than a predator who used their mother. Graham took advantage of Dina’s Alzheimer’s for financial gain and revenge – can the Abbotts will regain what was rightfully theirs all along?
