The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that the concert drama will finally wrap up. Unfortunately, the family conflict will continue to escalate for the Newmans. A huge confrontation will hit during the week of July 17. Once Victor (Eric Braeden) discovers that Nick (Joshua Morrow) sabotaged the soundboard, he’ll fly into a rage.
Nick will insist that he couldn’t stand by and let Victor’s thoughtlessness take a toll on Nikki’s (Melody Thomas Scott) health. He’ll contend that Victor was only thinking about himself. Of course, Victor will feel like Nick was the selfish one. He’ll think his son was way out of line.
Victor and Nick’s argument will certainly get heated. They’ll break away from the rest of the party as their fight escalates. Hilary (Mishael Morgan) and Howard (David Faustino) will get the whole thing on tape. They’ll undoubtedly use this scandal to their advantage soon enough.
Nikki will feel more overwhelmed than ever after the chaos snowballs. She’ll tell Jack (Peter Bergman) that she could really use some peace and quiet. Nikki will just want to kick back and put her problems on hold. She’s been through a lot thanks to Victor’s plan.
When Nikki asks Jack to take her on a trip, he’ll happily go along with the idea. Jack cares about Nikki and wants her to recuperate. The Young and the Restless spoilers say they’ll decide to head over to the Abbott cabin. Jack will suggest that this serene location is exactly what Nikki needs right now. He’ll hope he can provide some support as well.
Since Jack and Nikki’s bond has been growing stronger lately, this trip could prove dangerous. Will something happen between them during their getaway? Will someone eventually catch them getting too close for comfort? The Young and the Restless is obviously building toward some excitement here.
Later, Y&R spoilers hint that Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) will stumble across something shocking. Could she show up to prepare for a weekend with Billy (Jason Thompson)? It might be interesting if she spots Jack and Nikki together. It would lead to another stunning secret on the CBS soap.
However, The Young and the Restless could always go straight for the sucker punch. Victor might get updates on the trip and rush over. Can you imagine Victor’s outrage if he finds Jack cozying up to Nikki? This could be what truly reignites Jack and Victor’s war.
