The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Friday, May 19, tease that Cane (Daniel Goddard) will deal with the mess he made. Billy (Jason Thompson) will be under fire for his betting jokes on the behind-the-scenes footage. Cane will seem nervous, but he’ll make it clear that Billy and his history of gambling are the problem.
Juliet (Laur Allen) will get grilled about the approval she received from the legal team. She’ll suggest that she thought everything was A-OK, but she won’t be as certain anymore. Victoria (Amelia Heinle) will call in the videographer who edited the footage. He’ll keep quiet about Cane’s role in the editing fiasco, but he’ll demand money in exchange. Cane will secretly hand over some cash for his silence.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Cane will also urge Victoria to handle this crisis without Billy’s help. After Cane makes a speech, Victoria will determine that Billy has done enough damage. She’ll visit Billy’s room to forbid him from seeing the hockey executives in Toronto.
When Victoria arrives, Phyllis (Gina Togoni) will quickly hide. She’ll stay out of sight while they argue, but Victoria will realize her romantic rival is lurking. Before she leaves, Victoria will insist that Phyllis might as well show herself. After Phyllis offers an explanation, Victoria will hint that they’ve got bigger problems to deal with than her presence.
Back in Genoa City, Jack (Peter Bergman) will tell Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) about his complicated feelings for Dina (Marla Adams). He’ll confess that he’d be open to reconnecting with his mom. Nikki will contend that Jack should go for it if it feels right. You never know when you’ll run out of time.
At Newman Enterprises, Victor (Eric Braeden) will seek updates from Scott (Daniel Hall). He’ll be frustrated with the lack of progress in the Abby (Melissa Ordway) case. Victor is sure that Abby has something to hide.
Later, Scott and Abby will clash over their skills. When Abby questions Scott’s qualifications, he’ll counter that her father simply gave her this job. Scott obviously doesn’t feel like Abby paid her dues. Abby will take her complaints to Victor, but he’ll refuse to fire his new exec. Scott will go back to his laptop and examine a check linked to the real estate transaction.
At Chelsea’s (Melissa Claire Egan) penthouse, Nick (Joshua Morrow) will encourage his girlfriend to get the closure she needs. He’ll think she should do whatever it takes to find Chloe (Elizabeth Hendrickson). Chelsea will purchase an airline ticket to San Francisco. She’ll plan on finding out more about Chloe’s time at her psychiatric facility.
Nick will eventually catch up with Victor at the ranch. He’ll choose to tell an extremely dangerous lie. Y&R spoilers say Nick will fib that Chelsea is giving up her quest to locate Chloe.
