The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Nikki Remorseful In Prison – Victor Decides Wife’s Fate

The Young and the Restless spoilers tease that Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) can avoid jail time as long as she follow Victor’s (Eric Braeden) instructions. After months of battling, The Moustache unexpectedly has the love of his life right where he wants her and also, hopefully back in his arms.

Yes, the daytime tables have turned. Mrs. Newman held the upper hand until Nikki’s money grab was confirmed through an invented flashback that included Kevin (Greg Rikaart). She’d achieved the near-impossible; separated from the Great Man, but still in control of her own life.

Niktor has engaged in numerous instances of verbal violence. However, it must also be said that Nikki indicated that this always on-again, off-again duo would eventually be back together. Victor has never said never when that topic has been raised.

Victor now knows his wife retaliated against him by embezzling money from his account and shifting it to an offshore location. On the upside, he and his company been cleared by Christine (Lauralee Bell) and the authorities. As ever, the angst-filled other side of this, or any Victor-related situation, means that a negative consequence also exists.

Nikki used Kevin, which Victor will surely come to know, to try and take Nick’s (Joshua Morrow) money back and stick a finger in her husband’s eye as well. Mrs. Newman’s impulsive action wasn’t wise, as Kevin told her at the time and again recently. As a result Nikki now faces extended time in prison, or doing whatever her husband commands in order to remain on the outside.

As longtime viewers know, Nikki is familiar with metal poles. But the one’s she’ll be looking at in jail represent indefinite confinement, rather than a way to express herself and gain a billionaire husband, as she did at The Bayou so long ago.

In addition to wanting his coin back, Victor will also want to know who helped her achieve said theft. Kevin was foolish to comply to Nikki’s demands and in so doing risked Khloe’s life in Portland, Oregon. What was the Chipmunk thinking?

Victor actually didn’t do anything to Nikki when he orchestrated Chloe’s (Elizabeth Hendrickson) frame of Adam (Justin Hartley). Why Nikki became so upset at what Nick told her about Victor’s complicity didn’t make sense at the time, or since.

However, viewers know that Victor remains deeply affected by Nikki’s Multiple Sclerosis diagnosis. He can’t possibly allow her to exist behind bars and probably won’t create an untenable condition for her exoneration to occur.

Yes, Niktor appears close to reconciliation as Christmas approaches. The challenge for this always and forever feisty couple is to stay together in their advanced years. Like all GC couples, Victor and Nikki must realize that they should enjoy whatever time they have left together on this good earth.
