The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers and updates for Thursday, February 23, tease that Colin’s (Tristan Rogers) dreams will be dashed when Jill (Jess Walton) declares that they’re through. She’ll insist that there’ll be no more fresh starts. Jill will state that Katherine (Jeanne Cooper) could always see the real Colin. He’ll object, but his comments will just get Jill riled.
Once Jill’s monitors go nuts, the nurse will come in and reprimand Colin. After another round of arguing, Jill will order Colin out of her room. Meanwhile, Nick (Joshua Morrow) will find Victoria (Amelia Heinle) and Billy (Jason Thompson) at Crimson Lights. When he mentions Reed’s (Tristan Lake Leabu) performance at open mic night, Victoria will flip out.
Nick will learn that Reed ignored his grounding and took off. He’ll understand why Victoria is frustrated, but he’ll think the teen has real talent. Billy and Nick will note that Victoria needs to find ways to connect with Reed. Nick will add that Reed’s music could keep him on the right path.
At The Underground, Reed will be surprised when he hears that Mariah (Camryn Grimes) uploaded a video of his performance on the GC Buzz website. He’ll realize he’s going to get in trouble with Victoria, but Noah (Robert Adamson) will offer reassurance. After a fan encounter, Reed will seem like he’s enjoying his local fame.
At home, Reed will get an earful from his mother. He’ll call her attention to the video Mariah posted, but it’ll only cause additional strife. Victoria will scold Reed for sneaking off to The Underground not once, but twice. Billy will do his best to ease the tension, but Reed will lock himself away in his room.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Billy will make Victoria watch Reed’s performance online. He’ll point out that Reed really did impress the crowd. Across town, Sharon (Sharon Case) will apologize to Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) for the milk debacle. Nikki will decide there’s a way for Sharon to make it up to her.
Sharon will be stunned when Nikki urges her to open a shelter for women in need. Nikki will think Sharon can relate to females who are broken and hurting. She’ll believe Sharon can help them get their lives back on track. Sharon won’t be sure about that, but Nikki will contend that Sharon is stronger than she knows.
Later, Sharon will meet up with Chelsea and Nick at Crimson Lights. She’ll announce that she’s resigning from her position at Chelsea 2.0 so she can run the coffeehouse. Sharon will indicate that she’s in a better place now. She’s just trying to focus on the future.
Y&R spoilers state that Nikki will stop by The Underground for a chat with Noah. She’ll talk about how she patched things up with Sharon earlier. Noah will think it’s great that they’re on the same page. He’ll rant about how much Dylan (Steve Burton) hurt Sharon by leaving her. A flustered Nikki will exclaim that Dylan had no choice.
Noah will wonder what Nikki meant by that. He’ll decide to get some answers from Sharon on Friday. It sounds like some shocking moments are in store.
