The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Ray Wise Discusses Ian Ward’s Y&R Return

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease Ian Ward (Ray Wise) could be on his way back to Genoa City in the coming months. Wise tweeted that he is always up for a visit to Genoa City as it holds a special place in his heart. So, could Ian Ward be making his way back into town? Perhaps, let’s examine how the Y&R writers could bring him back.

Ian Ward always seems to pop up at the strangest times. He was Adam Newman’s (Justin Hartley) secret partner in the Paragon storyline. They had a plan to destroy Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) business. It was a brilliant plan that almost fooled The Moustache  – he had no clue his son, Adam was involved.

It’s possible that he could be involved in Adam’s return storyline. He could have found Adam, hurt after the cabin exploded and had him tucked away somewhere. Or, it’s possible that he is hiding out with Patty Williams (Stacy Haiduk), planning for the best time to come to Genoa City to target Victor again.

Ian Ward has always been obsessed with Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott). He fell in love with her when she was a young adult when she was in his cult. He could have heard through the grapevine that Nikki and Victor are on the rocks and convinced himself now is the time to come in and sweep Nikki off her feet. The Young and the Restless spoilers tease that could be enough to lure him out of hiding to claim his precious Nicole.

November sweeps is just a few months away. Ian Ward returning would do wonders for ratings and spice up the lack luster storylines. Whether he brings news of Adam Newman or not, Y&R could work Ian into the storylines, even if it’s just to get under Ian’s skin.

Ray Wise assured the Young and the Restless fans that if CBS called him, he would be up for another stint on the CBS soap opera. Do you want Ian Ward to come back to Genoa City? Could he be hiding Adam Newman? Stick with CDL for more Young and the Restless spoilers, news, and casting updates!
