The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that big changes are ahead for Hilary (Mishael Morgan). Now that Jordan (Darnell Kirkwood) has exposed Hilary’s nude photos, she sees what it’s like to be at the center of a mortifying scandal. Hilary will battle some guilt over what she’s put people through in the past. She’ll be sorry that she left many Genoa City residents feeling violated.
Devon (Bryton James) will like Hilary’s attitude adjustment. He’ll believe this could be a new beginning for his ex. Devon will try to help Hilary head down a new path, which will likely include a clean slate for their romance. There’s no way Hilary and Devon will stick with friendship for very long.
Hilary might ditch the more salacious side of her show and focus on the stories that really matter. Remember when Devon pushed Hilary to do gossip with a conscience? Maybe Hilary could revisit that idea. She might dial down the scandals, but what happens if another hot scoop falls right into her lap?
That would be the true test of whether Hilary has changed. Y&R fans are still waiting for the news of Mariah (Camryn Grimes) and Tessa’s (Cait Fairbanks) kiss to come out. This might be the perfect way to assess the new-and-improved Hilary.
Mariah and Hilary don’t exactly get along, but they tolerate each other as cohosts. There needs to be a certain level of professional trust between them. If the old Hilary got proof of this scandal, she wouldn’t have hesitated to spring it on Mariah. She would’ve divulged it live and put Mariah on the spot.
Now that Hilary has softened a bit, she might keep the smooch under wraps. Hilary and Mariah could actually move into frenemy territory. That’d be better than being cutthroat adversaries! If the kiss becomes public knowledge through another media outlet, Hilary might offer support to Mariah. That could earn her even more bonus points with Devon.
Of course, Hilary would have a tougher time resisting Scott (Daniel Hall) and Abby’s (Melissa Ordway) drama. What will Hilary do if she finds out they slept together? What about if Abby is pregnant and a paternity mystery heats up? The Young and the Restless spoilers say Hilary could face some serious temptation.
