The Young and the Restless Spoilers: The Moustache Hates Nick More Than Adam After GC Buzz Interview - Is Victor A Bitter Old Man?

The Young and the Restless spoilers tease that Nick (Joshua Morrow) will expose Victor’s (Eric Braeden) involvement with Chloe (Elizabeth Hendrickson) on GC Buzz. Hilary’s (Mishael Morgan) vanity show will prove to be Nick’s undoing, as Victor’s hatred of him will surpass the rage he held for Adam (Justin Hartley). The outcome will spell business and personal ruin.

Y&R fans know that the gray Moustache is nothing more than a bitter old man. His leathered face resulting not from years of honest blue collar labor in the sun, but instead from the slimy business deals and the treasured torture of his family members. Both acts were often orchestrated from the climate-controlled, self-aggrandizing skyscraper that he often peers out of.

Adam (meaning Michael Muhney’s and Hartley’s incarnation) bore the brunt of his father’s competitive vindictiveness until September 2016. That poor soul suffered so much that eventually the Black Knight, which is an insult to half the horsey chess pieces everywhere, pulled kooky Chloe out of a mental health facility and sicked her on him.

The murder frame that’s caused veteran actor Sally Kellerman’s (Constance Bingham) name to be referenced repeatedly, even though her role on Y&R was brief, resulted in Adam being falsely convicted and then imprisoned. Victor later claimed guilt and decided to help Adam escape.

But Chloe was once again ahead of this fading Genoa City manipulator. She seemingly killed Hartley’s character off just in time so he could relocate to NBC’s This Is Us, where his star now shines at nighttime.

Nick was immeasurably devastated when he learned that his father coerced and enabled Chloe’s crimes. He immediately exposed the cad to Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) and Victoria (Amelia Heinle), which tore the Newman family apart for the thirty-second time.

Victor wasn’t willing to tolerate Nick’s reaction. Subsequent damage that was done to his relationship with Faith (Alyvia Alyn Lind) pushed this father-son battle past the emotional thermosphere. An inserted science point works in soap, right?

Choosing to go public about Victor’s actions puts Nick in danger, which Morrow’s character can’t possible grasp. The mega-money Victor is having Kevin (Greg Rikaart) steal from Nick’s bank accounts won’t feel like a loss if the gray Moustache pulls the Christian (Jude and Ozzy McGuigen) paternity reveal. Doing so could potentially take Nick’s seeming son from him (forever, this time) and likely end Chick.

At least Adam is working his way through Purgatory. No, he’s not in Heaven if he’s dead. But a fate worse then explosive offing awaits Nick, as he’ll be forced to live with the purposeless pain that his father is about to impose upon him.
